"All kind of birds singing. Very peaceful. The owner was kind enough to spray for mosquitoes which helped slot. Tree branches, brush & logs in water made kayak/ rowboat access very difficult."

"We had a great time in this cabin! It is very nice inside and out - good beach for swimming, secluded and calm, great restaurant two minutes away (visited twice). There was good fishing, but you need a boat to get to the places. Also, cool waterfalls are just 50 minutes away, on Lake Superior in MI state. Beautiful nature, therexwes no rain at all.The only thing - the water may not be very good for drinking, so we got water on the gas station *also, 2 min away). Thank you."

"This is a beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay. We went out hiking each day and returned to enjoy the camfire, the view and the comfy beds each night. We will definitely come back again. "

"Stayed at this rental with my sister for a getaway weekend. The house had everything we needed and owner Neil is very responsive to questions. Spent time on the lake in the kayaks. Beautiful and quiet lake. Thanks for a great weekend stay!"

"Another amazing stay at the cabin! This was our 3rd time and won’t be our last. The cabin is clean and well appointed, and the property is well cared for. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake was our favorite place to be. Overall a fantastic time!"

"We had other family, 10 total, staying at another property on Fence Lake, and we could not have picked a better place for me and my wife to stay than The Fence Lake Retreat. It was very cozy and had all of the amenities we needed. I’m sure the tv was nice, but we never even turned it on…too busy enjoying the lake and all of the surroundings. It was great to be able to be picked up at our dock by boat from the other family members who were also staying in the lake. I would advise that if you...

"The cabin was nice. The one problem we had was taken care very quickly. It was quiet and close by Minoqua. The only thing I would say is that the pier was shaky. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. "
