The personal touches and amenities offered by Diana and Mark made us feel at home and afforded us the rest and relaxation we desired. "Tucked just off the main road, Lil Blue is located just a less than 30 minute drive to the Bristol area and minutes away from Abingdon. We enjoyed the Bristol Caverns, Appalachian Caverns and Backyard Terror and Dinosaurs one day of our stay. Then as we drove home, various locations of The Virginia Creeper Trail. The house was stocked with plenty of essentials. The location is pretty quiet, inviting and relaxing; we enjoyed morning coffee on the back porch. The owners have a great personality,...

"Such a sweet little place with great access to the town! Since a good portion of the Virginia Creeper Trail is closed right now we used the house as a jumping off point to a day of hiking near Boone and another day of exploring Cherokee National Forest. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We ate out for all meals because there were so many great options and didn’t use the kitchen much but it looked to be well appointed. WiFi was strong and the TVs were great. "

"We had a great time at the cottage! Before check-in we went out kayaking from Riverside Canoe and check-in was smooth, the cottage smelled fresh and was nice and cool on a hot summer day.We enjoyed the hot tub and hanging out on the front porch in the rocking chairs, an all around super relaxing visit. It is tiny but the layout is great, we had 3 adults and a large dog and didn't feel cramped at all."
