"The cottage was just as the pictures, super clean and so nice! We enjoyed spending lots of time on the deck taking in the amazing view! The rain even held off so that we could make the most of our outside time. The bed was ao comfortable and we loved having all the necessities there for us. We want to come back soon!"

"My daughter and I spent the weekend here and found it to be exactly what we needed! My husband stayed one night with us and brought his kayak. He enjoyed floating and fishing in the river, super easy to access. My daughter and I loved the screened in porch and we all three enjoyed the hot tub. We hope to stay again sometime. Owner is super responsive and everything was clean and all we could have asked for!"

"I visit West Jefferson, often. This home was perfect. It was extremely clean with all necessities that a person needed. There were plenty of dishes/utensils in kitchen, a coffee pot, plenty of towels in bathrooms, and all furniture was comfortable. I would highly recommend this home for two couples or a family with children! "

"We enjoyed the privacy and the property was well appointed. Some of the guidance docs were hard to follow but nothing that impacted our stay. If you’re going fishing, just walk around the gated complex of hatchery ponds to pick up the trail. It’s not obvious the first time. "

"The listing is very accurate. It is a nice room with everything needed to enjoy some quiet and a good night sleep. Parking in West Jefferson is no problem, so although it is a walkable distance to town, driving is a little more convenient. The owners were very welcoming and pleasant to talk to. We will definitely stay here again in the future."

"Cute cozy mountain cabin surrounded by nature---remote yet close to town. Small , but very functional . Has a warm and inviting decor. Lots of mountain and rustic touches. Well stocked kitchen and great deck for hanging out in nature. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would like to rent this property again in the future. Our fur babies liked it too!!! "

"My husband and I stayed two nights in the cabin while in the area for the Grayson Highlands 50-mile trail race. The cabin was so cute and cozy, clean, just as pictured. Incredible mountain views from the front porch and the hot tub, both of which proved key to my recovery the following morning! We cannot have had a more pleasant day, and would return here in a heartbeat when able. Such a gem. Thanks to the hosts for making it available."

"Everything was great. The hosts were very generous and polite. They introduced themselves and then did not bother us at all; however they were very reassuring and told us to let them know if we needed them. "We went for a 3 day weekend to run a trail race in Grayson Highlands state park. The house was a 30 minute drive from the park. Beautiful drive to the house and the park. We enjoyed resting at the house before and after our time at the park. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was lovely and we enjoyed walking the property and sitting outside reading."
