Enjoy the many ways we provide for you to spend time outside with family and friends. Walk out the door and into Lake Livingston, just a few steps down our dock stairs. Take our kayaks on a short trip to Goat Island to enjoy the beach or the goats. Paddle around Aztec Cove or local favorite, ā€œThe Honey Holeā€. Stargaze from the comfort of our luxury, 6-person, saline hot tub. Sip evening cocktails on the comfy dock lounge with fire table right on the water. Take your music with you to the hot tub or the dock on our provided portable bluetooth speakers. Savor morning birdsong and coffee on our spacious wrap around deck. Use our provided tripod mounted binoculars for world class birdwatching of songbirds, red-shouldered hawks, black winged pelicans and bald eagles. Or, watch the goats of Goat Island grazing and enjoying goat life. Be sure to bring your fishing gear to catch catfish and bass right from our dock. Perfect for family vacations or a romantic getaway for couples.

This newly-updated and spacious 2BR/1.5BA vacation retreat is ideal for families, multiple generations, sports tournaments, multiple couples, or anyone who desires a serene space to unwind in true lake life fashion. Our comfy retreat offers 1200 sf of open living, private lake access, wrap around decks, dock lounge, 6-person luxury hot tub, kayaks, community boat ramp, and more.

The open space lakefront living room offers 65ā€ smart tv and areas for relaxing and entertaining. The dining table is the perfect spot for family dining or a fun game night with our provided games.

BEDROOMS
Rest assured in a clean environment. We wash ALL used bedding after each visit. After a full day of lake life activity, relax in your master suite with king size bed and luxury linens. Enjoy private access to the screened in porch for coffee or nightcaps. Electronic charging provided.

Additional room sleeps up to 4 (adults + children).

* Bedroom 2 (Haven Retreat): queen bed, twin w/ twin trundle. Smart TV for the kids!

The wrap around outdoor deck features a gas grill for a sunset dinner and screened in patio with lots of seating.

Our 16,742 LumensĀ fishlight attracts interesting underwater nightlife and the romantic string lighting creates the perfect nighttime ambiance.

7 SEAT LUXURY SALINE HOT TUB
Unwind with the soothing power of 49 jets in our 7 person Grandee hot tub by Hot Spring, featuring led lighting and 3 waterfalls. Our hot tub is meticulously maintained and cleaned before each guest arrival. The hot tub patio also offers bistro table and chairs, lounge chairs, hooks for our provided bluetooth stereo speakers, romantic string lighting and hooks for provide towels or other items.

SCREENED PORCH
Enjoy your morning coffee or evening nightcap with access from the Master bedroom or take a break from the sun in our screened in porch, featuring ambient lighting, combo bench/picnic table, A/C power, electric fan and various chairs and tables.

Fantastic Summer Getaway!

If youā€™re looking for a cozy, beautiful place to relax and enjoy the lake, this is the place!! It had everything we needed, including 4th of July decor, plates, napkins and cups! We only brought our own food and drinks! The beds were super comfy, and there were plenty of extra blankets for cuddling up on the coach after a long day of fishing. We did bring our own rods, but thankfully they had extra ones already there since one of our broke! The kids caught lots of catfish and a few turtles! They also enjoyed canoeing over to Goat Island and jumping off the pier to take a swim! The host, Jenn, was amazing and made sure we were well informed about staying there and the local town. We highly recommended staying here if youā€™re wanting to experience lake life living!!

Everything about this home was perfect! Jen was a great host, she made everything so easy, she didnā€™t have a long check list to follow like others. The home was completely stocked, my advice to anyone staying there is to go to the home first to see what you might need. We went to the store first and bought so much stuff she already. She thought of everything! The hot tub was magical, the fishing was great, kayaking to goat island was so much fun, bird watching was mesmerizing (we even saw a bald eagle fly over) she also had a couple of bird books to help identify birds. Oh!! I cannot forget about the heat lamp in the bathroom.. I really want one in my own home now. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. We will most definitely, no doubt, rent this piece of paradise again.. and I cannot wait till the day. Thanks Jen

Girlā€™s Weekend

We were there to relax, recharge, reset and still have fun. We could not have been in a better place. Everything was clean, organized, easy to operate, the beds were so comfortable, the hot tub is large and water temperature was perfect, the lounging area at the boat house was probably our favorite place and we spent a great deal of our time out there watching the water, counting turtles, watching the fish, looking for birds, and enjoying the squirrel clenching to the tree and stretching out completely to rob the feed out of the bird feeder. We could not have found a better place for our girls weekend!!

A perfect place to stay with all of the amenieties that you will need

We have been staying in VRBO's since 2003 and this is one of the top 3!!. Jen, the host, is excellent. We were there for 10 days, so it was our "home" and not just a place where we slept. It was just like home from home. The kitchen facilities were excellent, everything was there that you needed. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful with wonderful lake views from the living area. We had a couple of minor issues and they were solved very quickly and efficiently.

Awesome trip!

My husband and I booked this home for a valentines getaway. We planned to be gone for a few days, so we wanted a place that had lots to do. This Vrbo checked all our boxes and then some!! The hot tub was amazing. The kayaks were super fun! And the fire table on the doc was so cozy!we had a fantastic time and we would definitely come here again! This Vrbo was so warm and inviting!

Lovely little house on the water. Just perfect for our family. My husband and myself and 2 teen granddaughters stayed for the weekend for their Bdays. It turned out to be horrible weather and ruined our plans but it happens. We still managed to have a great time. The girls found games and puzzles to keep them busy. And really loved being able watch all the birds. House had everything you needed. Just like being at home. We are definitely going back

Great weekend on the water.

Very clean quiet place on the water. Well outfitted with cooking materials and lots of extras. The view is fantastic hot tub is wonderful. Owners provided lots of great touches with games, Bluetooth speakers and lots of other extras. We will stay again.

AMAZING!! We have stayed at many properties and this one has been the best, hands down! The house, the location, ALL of the amenities were absolutely spot on fabulous! Because of the little notes all thru the house, the information binder, all of the little extra touches that just screamed, ā€œwelcome!ā€ we felt at home and at ease immediately. We quickly noticed there were no signs all over the place asking guests not to touch items, not for guest use, and not to move the furniture. Kudos! (We donā€™t ever move much, but sometimes a slight move of furniture for comfort and function helps.) Instead, we found an information binder and well placed notes instructing us in how much we WERE allowed to do, how to do it, and appropriate safety precautions. Check out is at 11 rather than 10, and there was no 20 step check off list like almost every other property. Two BIG bonuses that allow guests to relax and feel comfortable all the way to the minute they drive off. These owners go the extra mile to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome. Thanks yā€™all!!! We will be back!!

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful, clean lake house with wonderful amenities, views!!! The owner knew we had dogs coming with us and had a cute bag of treats upon arrival. This host goes above and beyond any property weā€™ve ever stayed at. They provided basically a full house service. Amazing. The house and dock were so peaceful. Highly recommend!

They have everything!!

My grandchildren never had a reason to be bored. They were able to Kayak, swim, fish and use the hot tub. All we brought was food, our clothes and fish bait. The home came with fishing poles, life jackets (clean), towels and kayaks. Wonderful weekend and great location. Thank you Jen:)

Great Lakehouse!!

The lakehouse was perfect, clean, organized and cozy. The view was fantastic. Watched sunrise and sunset from the boat house as all the water fowl flew to nesting and feeding grounds. The hot tub in the evening was the perfect finish to a relaxing day. The owner was freindly and helpful.

Birthday getaway

We were looking for a close to home getaway to celebrate my wife's birthday. We wanted a simple all inclusive place that wouldn't require a lot of effort on our part. The title of this rental said it all: "Romantic Hideaway Lakefront Retreat Fireside Lounge, Spa, Swimming and Kayaks!!!" It was all of that and more, spotless clean, well stocked, private and exactly what we were looking for. All of the amenities had detailed instructions on how to use. The proximity to "Goat Island" was a bonus. I kayaked over and explored the less densely side of the island. Although I didn't see the goats, I heard them in the thickets. It was an awesome stay and certainly on our list of potential repeat visits!

My boyfriend and I stayed for four nights and everything was just as promised. The hot tub was really clean and nice. The fishing pier was awesome. My boyfriend fished every day. The house was so cute and it had absolutely everything you could possibly need in it. It was my birthday, so the host left me a little birthday gift which I thought was so thoughtful and sweet. Honestly, I canā€™t wait to go visit there again! I highly recommend this property! It exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you, Jen.

Beautiful property!

This is a wonderful retreat! Property is gorgeous and just as it is pictured. Host is so helpful and everything was perfect for our stay. We loved seeing all the birds and turtles out in the lake. Hot tub was so relaxing and so many stars! I canā€™t say enough about what a beautiful rental this is - weā€™ll stay here again if weā€™re in this area.

Clean and comfortable

Overall, this property was very clean, comfortable, and very organized! The Lakehouse had everything we needed, we only had to bring our clothes and our food. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was nice and quiet at night. The air conditioning worked great. The hot tub was amazingly clean. The dock was a wonderful place to fish from and relaxā€¦ we did bring our own fishing poles. The kayaks were an added bonus and we enjoyed being able to kayak over to Goat Island. The only small issue was that a lot of spiders had taken up residence around the dock, and had some lovely websā€¦ but this would seem to be a fairly common nuisance at the lake. Not sure if it was because of the spidersā€¦But there were no mosquitos!!šŸ‘ Overall, we had a great time and plan on a return visitšŸ‘

Pictureā€™s didnā€™t let you down. Perfect location. Every thing you need is there. Just bring clothes and food. Jen is very gracious and a great communicator. Even got free veggies from the neighbor.

Repeat Visit

Jen and her team are detailed, accommodating and supported us on every inquiry. Most importantly, the property interior and exterior are much better than expected. You have many choices for patio relaxing (e.g., indoor, outdoor, lake, jacuzzi, etc.), you choose. The kitchen, shower, bathroom, outside shower, living room and especially the lake fireplace are relaxing and will meet your expectations. We look forward to another, if not, 2 more trips this year. Lake Livingston House

We were blown away. Every supply you could need and only a few miles from the nearest town. The house was perfect and the lake was beautiful. The owners made the process simple and were easy to work with. The amenities were first class, and the sunrise was absolutely beautiful every morning. Do yourself a favor and check out this place!
