The Best Times at Lake Hartwell - Large Lake House near Clemson w/Pontoon Rental

This Lake Hartwell waterfront, six-bedroom home is perfect for family gatherings and get-togethers. Located on a wide cove, this area is perfect for the family who loves water sports. Down the gentle hill, the dock is equipped with a covered slip. A beautiful pontoon boat with 115 hp engine is available to rent (at an additional fee-pontoon not available during winter, December 1- February 28). There is also space on the dock for two additional boats. Two kayaks and a stand-up paddle board are available to explore the lake. Enjoy the beautiful views of the lake from the house while relaxing on the deck.
The modern lake house includes a large living area with a fireplace, hardwood floors, and 65ā€ SmartTV with DirecTV making your game day gathering complete! There is a gaming table/bar, a dart board, as well as board games for the whole family to enjoy. The large, well-equipped kitchen features entertaining essentials and opens to the dining area, and the grills on the deck provide the perfect arena for the family grill-master.
For your convenience, there is a laundry room with an additional refrigerator as well as a bright sunroom, bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. Upstairs, the impressive master suite has a king bed, private bathroom with a garden tub and separate shower, as well as an adjoining kidsā€™ room that sleeps three. Down the hall, youā€™ll find three additional bedrooms ā€“ two with queen beds, one with a kingā€”and a full bathroom.
Just a few miles off I-85, Exit 11, this quiet property is conveniently located to Clemson University, restaurants, and shopping.
This comfortable home is ideal for large families with children, football weekends, and get-togethers with friends. The Best Times await you at the lake!

This was the best property we have ever stayed at. The house has everything you need. In the pass we have tsken pot snd pans with us, but you don't need them The kitchen is well stocked with spices and other condiments. They have a snoker., a barrell grill and a 4 burner flatop. All clean and worked perfectly. The smoker is big enough to cook 3 racks of ribs and 16 chicken thighs. The lake deck is awesome. If you kids they will love the floating mat. The master bedroom has a small room that has bunkbeds fir two children. Shopping is cery essy Ingles is 12-15 minutes. Anderson is about 25 minutes and there is an Academy annd SAMs Club. Found out later there was a WhatABurger there also. Missed out on thst. We are making plans to ho next year. We were 6 adults and 4 kids and 1 boxer dog. Plenty of room have personal space. We had such a good time. The house was comfortable and well stocked for our entire family. We loved just floating in the lake or sitting on the dock together. The neighborhood and lake area are quiet and safe for kids. We will be back next summer!

Amazing location and super nice house very clean with plenty of nice outside eating area. Beautiful yard leading to dock with amazing views. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat as we did for touring the lake. Was an amazing vacation.

The house was fantastic. Perfect for large families. The gathering/ eating areas were awesome with large kitchen and a great blackstone to cook on. The dock and area of the lake are picture perfect. The ability to rent the boat directly from the owners was so convenient and the pontoon was a great size, clean, ran great, and was an absolute hit with everyone. We would all highly recommend this house and will be back again ourselves. Johanna was great to deal with!

Our group of 6 really enjoyed this house. The layout was great for us, with the bedrooms all feeling very cozy and quiet. (It's worth noting that the bunk bed room is only accessible THROUGH the master bedroom, which wasn't an issue for us but I don't know if we realized that ahead of time). The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pans and utensils. We enjoyed all the different seating areas, from the screen porch to outdoor dining table and the cozy living room. We also enjoyed relaxing on the dock (and a few folks went for a chilly swim!) Even though the neighbor houses seem quite close, the layout of the house and windows gave us a sense of privacy.

Our family of 10 stayed for 5 nights and found everything provided to be thoughtful and generous. The dock and the pontoon boat were the highlights, and we used the boat every day of our stay. Swimming next to the dock was enjoyable, as was the use of the kayaks and paddle board. There were a couple of minor problems that were dealt with promptly by the host to our satisfaction. At one point we had 6 cars parked in the driveway and there was ample room for all of them. We used to have a lakehouse on Hartwell lake and our stay brought back pleasant memories.

We had an amazing time at this property. It was plenty big enough, extremely clean, and one of the most well stocked VRBOā€™s Iā€™ve done. Everything about the process was so easy from checking in to check out and everything in between. The property itself is phenomenal, a great location, hanging on the dock was a blast as was taking the boat out a few times for strolls around the lake. I canā€™t see enough good things about our stay and the property itself. We will definitely be looking to book it again one day.

The house was great! We had a great time. We enjoyed the openness of the downstairs where we all could gather and enjoy each others company. We cooked most of the meals there and used the grill and flat top grill. Everything worked great! All the bedrooms worked out perfectly.

This house was fantastic - clean, comfortable, and as described in VRBO. Rick and Johanna were very responsive and accommodating. It is a 25 minute drive to campus, but I would highly recommend if visiting Clemson with a big group.

Wow - what a wonderful week we had at your home! We loved everything from having a fully equipped kitchen to the very short distance to the dock! We had plenty of room and I was so happy with all of the supplies that came with the house (which usually never happens). The owners were very responsive when contacted and were very accommodating. Communication with the property owner was excellent. The house was the best stocked house for kitchen items that we have ever stayed at. The house was in great condition with all TVs working. The dock with the property was very well built and very functional. Everyone loved the place and had a great time.

We booked this house for July 4 week for our family (adult children with us) . So happy they bought a boat and were able to offer that for an additional fee. It was perfect. Floating do go t off the dock and the lake is ginormous so this bring in a cove was a great location. Getting up and down to the dock was easy (a hill). House is comfy and can seat a total of 10 in the dining area so was perfect. The 6th bedroom - bunk bed room- itā€™s not actually adjacent to the master - itā€™s INSIDE the master. We were happy we didnā€™t end up needing to use it as that would have been a game changer for us. There were deer each evening just down the street. Boat ramp really close as we had a waverunner. We had 10 people overall for the week but 8 was the most at one time. Perfect - remote and quiet - we floated and boated the whole time.

We had an amazing time. This place was very spacious, very clean, and well stocked. The beds were one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on at vacation home. The host answered all my questions and were very helpful. We rented the hosts"s boat and it was very nice pontoon boat. We made memories to last a lifetime here. We very much enjoyed our stay at this lake house. We have rented a lot of vacation homes and this was, by far, the best stocked house we ever stayed at. Everything we could think of was provided by the hosts. The lake is an easy walk straight out from the house as well and the dock and lake are great. The hosts were also very responsive when we had questions. The only thing I would flag for others traveling with young kids who are planning to use the bunk room is that it is not only attached to the master bedroom, but can only be accessed through the master the bedroom - meaning, if the kids need to get up in the middle of the night, they must go through the master bedroom. Otherwise, a great stay and we would definitely rent this property again.

This house has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation or getaway. Super Clean and Plenty of Space. We had 9 in our group and always had our own space. The views from in and out of the house are very nice as there are plenty. If you rent thw boat, you will not be disapointed....it is very new and well kept.
