Perfect little cabin
My husband and I loved this cabin!!! We loved the isolation, the night sky, the huge porch, and close location to Capitol Reef. The hosts beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed this cabin with EVERYTHING you might need. It was so nice to be able to cook a meal after so many days on the road and really appreciated the spices to make our simple dinner taste so much better than what we were planning. Communication with the hosts was excellent with very quick responses. I deeply appreciate their details in responding to my questions/concerns regarding my strong fragrance allergies and they delivered going out of their way to wash linens with a scent free laundry soap. Moreover we benefited from their binder of information about exploring the area that guided us to "loop the fold" which gave us a much better understanding of the geology and great vistas which were less traveled. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Next time we come back we'd like to stay a week and further explore the area while returning home to soak in the peacefulness of this quiet retreat.

Lovely peaceful cabin near the park. Perfect!
Lovely cabin with great views, and very peaceful. It’s right off scenic byway 12 which I recommend you drive. And it’s just outside Capitol Reef and some great hikes, as well as the town of Torrey. We walked into town which is about 1.5 miles. For part of the way there’s a wide bike path. When you walk in the front door of the cabin, there is a small kitchen with a 2 burner stove, mini refrigerator, and a table with 3 chairs (another chair is in the corner so could fit 4 people). Happy to have an electric tea kettle there. The bathroom is downstairs – the shower is very small but functional. There were plenty of towels available. A couch is in the back room of the cabin with a TV and a porch facing the mountains. The spacious bedroom is upstairs with a king bed, two nightstands, a desk and a comfortable chair to sit on. You can sit outside on the porch in front of or behind the cabin. And there’s a balcony off the bedroom upstairs. This was the perfect place to stay! So glad we found it. Definitely follow the directions they send you – they were perfect.

Wonderful
Wonderful stay. Everything from the decor to the view was spectacular. The bed was so comfortable and the cabin had all of the amenities you could need. You could not find a better location near Capital Reef. I hope to be back one day!

Outstanding in every way
A beautifully designed and well-maintained property, spotlessly clean and with all the comforts of home. Quiet secluded location with 360-degree views, just a few minutes from Capitol Reef NP and the town of Torrey. Many nice touches, including a wrap-around deck, upper-level balcony, and a good selection of maps, brochures, and books about the area. Highly recommended!

Wonderful cottage/cabin - perfect layout for a couple! Great view of the night skies, and Capitol Reef NP is only about 10-15' away! Easy access to town of Torrey for basic groceries. Really enjoyed our stay - highly recommended!

Amazing Place!
We loved this little cabin. After a few hours of hiking we were able to come back to this beautiful little place for lunch and a rest before we headed back to the park for more exploration. The inside is decorated so comfortably we felt at home immediately. I LOVE the plants both inside and out that made it feel like a home, not some sterile rental with no personality. The kitchen is small, but the appliances, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans are all perfect for preparing your meals at home. Great touch with all the (new) appliances being red! I can't begin to rave about the views out of every window and off of every deck and the balcony from the bedroom. The host was amazing and had left a treasure trove of information about hiking, dining, and the area in general. Host's home is nearby and other properties are nearby, but not too close, so we felt we had complete privacy the entire time. We felt so comfortable and fell in love with the place! I couldn't give a higher recommendation! This was a great trip because the accommodations were so perfect!

Such a cute cabin
The cabin was fully stocked and comfortable and very clean! It was a cozy place with such cute decor and lovely views. We loved that it is so close to our destination - Capitol Reef National Park. The host was very communicative and helpful.

Tranquil Torrey Retreat
Our stay was so comfortable, relaxing and just what the doctor ordered after multiple days hiking in Utah’s National Parks. The hummingbird’s were an added bonus!

This cabin was definitely cozy, cute, and comfortable! There were plenty of seating choices inside and out. The decor, house plants, front porch, back deck with pergola, upper balcony, and landscaping were delightful touches. The refrigerator is dorm size, but everything else was lovely!

Fantastic stay! Highly recommended!!
We had a wonderful time in this little hut! Impeccably clean, very close and views to die for. Our kids loved the hummingbirds that visited the veranda all the time! Very close to capitol reef with great hikes (we recommend grand wash with cassidy arch) Thanks again to Meaghan and Jon for having us and making our kids so comfortable with an extra mattress!

Amazing
The cabin was perfect for us . Clean , beautiful area. Easy access to everything we wanted to do in the area. I can not think of one complete. My wife and I were just talking about coming back there next year. It really was one of our best vacations. Thank you very much.

Charming Comfortable Cabin
The pictures do not do this cabin justice! The well placed windows fill the rooms with light and frame spectacular views of the countryside. The owner has done a fabulous job of providing all the necessary amenities, making you feel as comfortable as possible in this lovely cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed hiking the national park and looked forward to returning to this welcoming cabin in the evenings.

A Perfect stay in a Cabin away! Wonderful Views!
This is my second time to this property in two years and I highly recommend it! The cabin is wonderful with a wrap-around deck to relax and enjoy the scenery/outdoors! Located in a quiet location just minutes from Capitol Reef NP. Perfect for friends, couples, or families.

Great cozy place to stay
The little cottage is exactly as described. Perfect for us as a family with 2 children who could sleep very well in the two single beds. There is enough space in the kitchen for a small breakfast and there are plenty of nice places to eat nearby. Very good location for the national parks.

Adorable little cabin
I absolutely loved this little cabin. I traveled with my husband and my mother on this trip to explore Capitol Reef National Park. This cute little cabin is perfectly located to explore the national park and the cute little town of Torrey. The cabin had everything we needed. It was very clean and decorated super cute. We just loved grilling dinner and just hanging out on our front porch. And the night sky is amazing. The owners were very accommodating and very nice to work with. The cabin is very private and quiet, which is what we were looking for. We will definitely come back here if we decide to come back to the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Torrey Pines Cozy Cottage. It was conveniently located just outside the National Park, in a quiet neighborhood free of any distractions from traffic or other guests. It was comfortably equipped with everything we needed and decorated in a welcoming fashion. (My young-at-heart girlfriend loved the toy horses.) The upstairs bed was huge and so comfortable. We made sure to sit outside on the deck at night to watch the stars - great view! Kitchen had all that we needed to make breakfast each morning. Only complaint was the ultra-compact size of the shower. I'm 6' and 175lbs and had much difficulty moving in there. Felt like I was getting MRI scans each time. But no place is ever perfect for every guest, so this did not detract from my stay. (A larger/taller person might want to consider it, though.) Again, wonderful accommodations. Would stay again.

We loved this little cabin! Great access to Capitol Reef National Park and beautiful views from the front porch and bedroom balcony for morning coffee and relaxing. Owners were attentive and provided great communication. Glad we shopped for groceries before arriving though as shopping options in town are limited. Would stay there again and highly recommend!

Cute Place Near Capitol Reef and Escalante
The place was exactly as described. Country decor and on the minimal side, but had everything you needed. It was small but perfect. Views were great and had it not been so cold, I would have used the great porches. My only compliant would be the heat was not the best. It took a long time to heat the place up as heat rises, so downstairs was cold and it was a bit loud. The place was located within 20 minutes of Capitol Reef Park and an hour 20 of Escalante National Monument. I would recommend seeing both areas. We loved the local Mexican Place off of 24 near the other hotels and restaurants, prices were reasonable and it was easy to get into. Overall I recommend this place over a local Motel!

We loved the cabin, it was perfect for our annual girls trip. Plenty of indoor space as well as outdoor deck space to sit back and enjoy the views.! Quick access to Capital Reef NP as well as being private to unwind and relax in the evenings will a sky filled with stars. Highly recommend this cabin!

The Reef
We were very pleased with our accommodations. The cabin was cozy, beautiful views, and close to Capitol Reef National Park. The hosts paid attention to detail and anticipated what guests would need to be comfortable. Had everything we needed! The Rim Rock restaurant was an excellent dinner choice as well as the Pioneer Kitchen for breakfast. Wonderful stay!!

We Love Torrey Utah- this cabin was charming and we really enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin with it's perfect location to capital reef and eateries withinTorrey. The property was clean and has a small cabin charm. It could benefit from a few minor changes such as a better toilet and installing a dishwasher- ie.....a little updating. Overall we would recommend this cabin for it's privacy and location. The surrounding scenery was amazing!!

Great Location & Helpful Owners
Located at the crossroads of Capital Reef and Torrey, a great location, quiet, peaceful and comfortable. We were up and out hiking very early and were back my mid-afternoon. Fixed breakfast and dinner in the kitchen but ordered takeout from The Rim Restaurant and Curry Pizza. Wow. Enjoyed the patio where we read and played cards. Great time. Try the hikes out Notom Road and you won't be disappointed.
