The property was beautiful but difficult to find, especially in the dark. We did not use the pool as the decking seemed a little dicey to walk on. The rooms were very nice and cleaned every day, the cleaning lady was wonderful. The beds and bedding were excellent. The showers had good pressure and hot water. The kitchen utensils and amenities left a lot to be desired. Very used and missing a lot of basics. We could have used a stovetop kettle and toaster at the very least. The place is not managed well, Georgio took a long time to respond to messages and never actually appeared. When we finally did hear from him he was very angry with us that we had inadvertently stayed in the wrong casa after being directed to do so, and charged us for both Casa’s for the 2 nights in cash. We were a large group of 6 taking up 4 casas in total and we felt our business was not appreciated as a superhost should imo. Georgio kept saying the other casa’s were booked but not one person showed up while we were there for 2 weeks. I would not stay there again as there are plenty of better options and closer to the beach. As a super host myself it was disappointing.

The kitchen could use a refresh. We found bugs in the drawers where the pans were stored so kept the dishes/pans we were using in the refridgerator. We realize that the area is tropical but it did suprise us a bit.The bed was very comfortable and the living space adequate.The ocean was a 15 minute walk away. Therefore, I agree with the comment about it not being "oceanview". We were fine with the walk as we do so daily at home.The maids were very nice and cleaned/swept, & provided fresh towels daily. The store was convenient and easy to walk to.

Casa Gardenia - A Tranquil Oasis

We went to Todos Santos for a quiet getaway. It was perfect. Our casita was kept spotlessly cleaned, the staff were totally unobtrusive, waiting until we stepped out before doing cleaning and we'd come back to a perfectly cleaned casita. Grocery store and restaurants are a short walk away. Our bed was huge and very comfortable. Waking to the sounds of birds twittering and the ocean breakers in the distance was great. Kitchen equipment was suitable, but a few added bowls and storage containers would be helpful (our only small negative). Water in shower and kitchen was piping hot and plentiful. The pool was a great size to pop in to cool off, and pool cleaners attended regularly.We loved our stay and we recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, tranquil place to rest and recharge.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful place

The property was very clean and surrounded by lush trees and beautiful plants. At night we could hear the ocean waves crashing in the distance and it was very conveniently located to the town itself and to some fun restaurants nearby. We didn’t see the hosts but our room was cleaned everyday and the host was very communicative. Would definitely return again!

Quiet and safe location

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Villa Gardenia. Pros: -You could hear the ocean from the windows and it was very soothing -Very quiet and peaceful property -Felt very safe -The bed was very large and quite comfy -The sheets were very clean -No bugs or other pests inside or out -There was housekeeping that made the beds and emptied the garbage each day -Has a full separate kitchen area where you can cook meals if desired -There were lots of birds foraging on the trees right outside Cons: -The pool was shared with all of the suites and we didn't end up using it -The shower didn't drain well and would pool at your feet -The view was mostly looking at the neighbours entrance which felt awkward when they were outside at the same time -The beach was 10-15 minute walk away -There wasn't much interior decor and it differed slightly from the photos -Overall this accommodation was more expensive than other options we stayed at

Beautiful, clean Casita

The place is small but super clean (even had daily housekeeping). It's very cute and has the basics. There are a few other casitas on the property. The others have rooftop patios which I will go for if I go back in the future. The small pool is shared with the other casitas which wasn't clear from the listing. The beach is nearby but further than a 2 minute walk. From this Casita without a rooftop whale watch isn't really possible. None of this was a big issue for us but it wasn't clear from the listing so I thought I'd mention it for future travelers. We also had an issue trying to change our reservation by 1 day. The host was not able to figure out how to change it and although VRBO said they sent him instructions it was never resolved. We opted to keep our reservation as it was and I'm glad we did because we had a wonderful time. I would definitely consider going back if I travel to the area again in the future.

Great stay

Beautiful and comfortable. Casa was clean, staff was super friendly and helpful, and property was beautifully well kept. The kitchen is completely separated from the bedroom area (separate door off outdoor seating area), which is perfect to keep the cooking heat out of the sleeping area. There is no air conditioning but the house stays very cool. The above ground pool is also very refreshing on a hot day and looks out towards the water. The beach is amazing and private and about a 15 minute walk in sand from the casa. The grocery store with lots of fresh produce is just a 5 minute walk. There are also a few great places to eat (tacos, smoothies, rice bowls, etc) just a 7 minute walk from the casa. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.

Property was unique

The place was nice, however for it to say you can whale watch from the property, I would find hard to believe as the ocean is so far away that you’re not even quite sure you are looking at the water. The people were very nice and the villa was spotless.
