"Lovely place to stay, the hosts where very accomadating and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast each morning was great i'm a vegetarian and had plenty to choose from. The building amenities were acceptable to poor, The bath plug did not have a chain, so needed to be pried out with a spoon handle. The coffee and tea soon ran out and didn't have any idea where to get replacements. The Coffee percolator did not work at all. "Nice big room and bathroom, the only downside was staying there during a hot spell and the bathroom got the sum very early morning and the bedroom for the rest of the day making it unbearable to sleep in, even though there was a fan provided. The bottom sheet didnt fit the bed properly so with shuffling due to the heat it didnt stay on for long. Great location and a good base for visiting the area and plenty of parking. We had breakfast but wished we hadnt as it was very disappointing when...

"We were back again for another week in this home from home property. Its just great you have to understand that lots of people have been inhabiting this property. Maybe some dont treat it as they should. Keep up the standard and like us they will come back again."

"Had a very nice stay here. It is the first time we stayed. We had a larger room. It was very clean & newly decorated, such a bonus. For the price it was excellent, would recommend it. Staff were friendly. It was a good location for the town. Meals available, we did not use the these facilities, so carn't comment. We would stay here again. "

"The room was very cold with no additional blankets. The food was rushed and under cooked. The breakfast started and eight there were no staff to service us even though we had informed the night before we needed to leave asap therefore we had to leave without breakfast. "The best part of this hotel is the sea view (at least from my room), a good bed and a good breakfast. All the rest such as furniture, carpets, walls and doors painting in the corridors and inside the room are very damaged by time and lack of maintenance. The cleanliness was very bad, I found a lot of long hair on the carpet, which was not mine (I have short hair) - throughout my stay there. "Shocking hotel! The room was filthy and in a really bad state of repair. We refused to stay in the first room they gave us which was in the roof space. I don't understand how hotels are allowed to operate like this. If it was a restaurant they would be shut down by the foog hygiene agency. It ruined our weekend. I will be emailing the hotel directly with photos of the room. Would the owners stay in these rooms? I think not. Even the grand staircases are filthy."
