"It was a great location on the Esplanade. Entry was self-service check-in. The booking stated ocen views and breakfast included. The breakfast was great but we were advised that breakfast was not included as though there was a dispute with Expedia and the room had an ocean glimpse."

"The breakfasts were scrumptious. The beach was just below our room, with extensive views across the Cleddau estuary, with 2 swans coming in and out with the tides. The hotel staff were helpful, knowledgeable and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. "

The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the grounds impeccably maintained, resulting in a perfect family reunion weekend involving picnics in the gardens, meals in the restaurants and restful sleeps. "We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "
