"The apartment is older but has tons of charm. It was much larger than we expected and very bright and sunny. The hosts were in touch the entire time and gave us suggestions of things to do and where to eat. We will stay here again on our next visit to Marine."

"This was a great location for a long girls weekend. Really nice space outdoors to enjoy and 2 comfortable beds with comfortable living space to relax in. (If you need to have adults sleep on the pull out/futon or bunk beds it may not be as comfy for bad backs ect- but the space is there if you need it) Really easy access and the long sloped sidewalk down to the unit made it easy to bring in luggage on wheels. Host was great and responsive. Just keep in mind there is no sink in the kitchenette...

"The hosts are amazing & their little place is too. Great location, quiet, a perfect spot for what I needed for a week. The place was clean, well furnished (cute too!), many comforts of home. I needed a couple of things during my stay and the owner resolved them within a few minutes. I would recommend this to friends, family, anyone looking for a cozy little spot."

"I would like to suggest: baskets or totes be placed in the bathroom closet to put toiletries in because they do not stay in place on the wire shelves; add a handrail along the sidewalk for safety; a recliner would be extremely helpful (husband has a back bad and needs to sleep in a recliner); recommend reviewing the heating situation as the owners upstairs get too hot if the furnace was used."

"What a beautiful apartment - perfectly equipped for a quick getaway! I appreciated that the space was so clean, gorgeously adorned, and super comfy. The treats from a nearby bakery and lovely fresh flowers made me feel instantly welcomed and pampered. Thank you for being such a thoughtful and gracious host, Rhonda. "Property is beautiful and the interior was very comfortable. Had a nice relaxing weekend. The outside patio would be wonderful in the summer. Unfortunately for us it was 35 degrees during our weekend. Would definitely recommend!!"

"Room was smaller than it looked online. Bathroom/ shower were very small. The room had a musty/mildew smell. Tried everything to get rid of it. Even diffused some essential oils. Nothing worked. Seemed like the property was closed up for an extended period of time. No management on site. Very nice location. Close to lake."

"We had a lovely long weekend away in Marine in St. Croix. The accommodations were clean and quite cozy. The town has everything you might need during a short stay. The area is quiet within easy distance of some wonderful state parks. Great hub to go out and enjoy the fall colors. The one downside is that the town has a loud siren that sounds anytime there is a medical or fire emergency in the area. Not too disruptive from the apartment, but pretty intense when sitting outside at the Brookside...
