Our experience with this property was extremely disappointing and stressful.About 11 minutes after our scheduled check-in time, the owner texted saying he “couldn’t wait to host us.” We were at a music festival at the time, assuming everything was ready as agreed. Two hours later, he called to inform me that the house had not been cleaned and asked if we would be willing to stay there anyway.Absolutely not. I paid for a clean, ready-to-occupy home at check-in time. Being told after check-in that the property wasn’t clean is unacceptable.He said he could have it cleaned the next day, but that doesn’t solve the problem when you’re arriving for a short stay in a busy town during a major event with very limited lodging options. This put us in a very difficult position and created unnecessary stress.VRBO customer service ultimately stepped in and helped resolve the situation, but it required hours on the phone during what should have been our vacation time.If you value reliability and a property being ready at check-in, I would strongly caution booking here. We will not be staying at this property again.
