“The Penthouse" is Condo 5, a 4-bedroom unit within the Oneida Lake House, a renovated lakefront property with a total of five condos.

This is the largest unit of the five, with a private balcony, a full kitchen, a living room with a 65" smart TV, and a shuffle board for extra fun.

Step out to the shared lawn, firepit, hot tubs, and beach just a few steps away. Grill, sip a drink under the gazebo, or gather around the fire as the sun sets over the lake.

Please note that this property is part of a multi-unit house. While your unit is entirely private, the laundry area and all outdoor amenities (such as the yard, patio, and hot tubs) are shared with guests staying in other units on the property.

Unit #5 is located on the 3rd floor of a multi-unit building and is accessed through the shared front door. Penthouse guests will then take the staircase on their right and continue up to the very top floor. The exterior staircase leads to another unit’s patio. We kindly ask that guests be considerate while using the staircase and do their best to respect the privacy of those staying in that unit.

🚭 No smoking and no recreational or illegal drug use anywhere on the property.
🤫 Please keep noise levels reasonable in all outdoor areas after 9:00 PM. Quiet hours are strictly enforced to ensure a peaceful experience for everyone.
🎉 Parties & Events -Parties are not allowed under any circumstances unless prior notice and explicit permission is given. This includes family gatherings, large birthdays, or other significant events. All must be cleared by the host before booking.
👥 Extra Guests - All additional guests must be approved in advance. Unauthorized guests may result in an additional charge—or, depending on the situation, immediate removal of all guests from the property without a refund.

All pets must be approved in advance.
🐶 $75 cleaning fee for the first pet.
🐕 Each additional pet (up to 2) = 50% of that fee.

-Please treat our home and amenities with the same respect you would your own, leave home in same condition you found it and if you notice anything broken or out of place let us know right away

Any evidence of smoke in the home after check out will be subject to a $300 fine and any guests found to be partaking in illegal drug use while still inhabiting the home will be removed immediately, no refund will be issued and possible legal ramifications will ensue
-Please be extremely careful with starting a fire in the outdoor kitchen fireplace. Please clean up any garbage left around this area and use caution when enjoying a fire
-Parties are not allowed under any circumstances unless prior notice and permission is given such as a family gathering, large birthday, significant event, etc. All must be cleared by the host prior to booking
-Respect the neighbors: it is very important that noise levels are kept reasonable in the outdoor areas after 9pm. If there are any complaints we may not be able to continue hosting in the future and any repeated noise complaints will result in removal from property
-Please notify us of any extra house guests as they must be approved before staying- you may be charged an additional fee or, depending on the circumstances, we will enforce a removal from the property for all guests immediately without a refund
-Report damages and anything in non-working condition
-Please no food or drink in the bedrooms, guests will be liable to compensate host for any stains
-It is self check in and out with a smart code that will be given a few days prior to your booking. Guests are required to lock all windows and doors before they depart
-Pets must be approved before entering the home. If pets are brought in without consent from the host there will be a $250 fine and depending on the circumstances all guests may be removed from the property with out a refund.

Nice stay on top floor at Sylvan Beach

We had a nice stay at the top floor unit. Condo was clean, exactly as pictured. Beds very comfortable. Main room is very nice, big dining table, large comfy couch and tv, kitchen was decently stocked for a rental. Beautiful glass sliding doors out to a private deck with patio table umbrella and grill. It's a 3 floor walk down to the beach, but this was perfect for us as we are more "look at the water" people anyway. Wifi was slow although it's possible it was having issues due to the storm we had that week. Communications with the property manager were very good, responsive.

Property is in a great location. Very few towels in both bathrooms. Back deck has a board that is dangerously loose, please fix it asap about 3-4 feet to the right of the grill. Price was a little on the high end for needing to walk up to the third floor. Carpets looked dirty when we got there, fridge was spacious. Great living room space with a comfy couch. Welcoming open atmosphere made a great space for cards and conversation. Would likely stay again.

Great location and views. Surprised to find 5 units in this space with each unit going through the same front door which was always left unlocked or even open at times. Common space laundry room, stairs and hallways in needs some TLC. Handrails on stair cases not reaching the top of the upper stair case and non existent for steps into first floor. Comfortable beds, nice great room with beautiful views of lake. Kitchen needs some more cooking pots and pans.

The place was nice and spacious which was nice, having it right on the beach was cool. There were a few minor things 1-the fridge was not level so the door didnt want to close very easy and when open drawers would just slide open 2-the sliding glass doors to balcony were very tough to open and close. 3-the hot tubs had not been cleaned and had a decent amount of sand in them. 4- there was miss communication about there being a guest book and parking passes in the room. Which the owner did get back to me the next morning saying it wasnt needed at this time but kinda scary to worry if my car would be towed over night. Would have been nice to have more than 1 tv in the house but it worked for us at the time. Over all the stay was not bad at all we would go back again.

Expansive Lakefront Luxury

As Sylvan Beach’s self proclaimed biggest fan, I can easily say that this is hands down the most beautiful property we’ve stayed at. The lake views are breathtaking, both inside and out. The property is beautifully appointed. You do not need to bring your own linens for beds or towels/toiletries for the shower. The host provides everything you need. The decor is modern, tasteful, and simplistic! Two full baths and a washer dryer in unit were wonderful. The outdoor fire pit on the deck that is into for this unit only was a nice addition. The outdoor space on the first level with hot tubs and a gazebo is like nothing else on the lake. Brand new outdoor showers were installed shortly after we arrived and are great for rinsing the sand off prior to using the jacuzzis. We were lucky to have the property mostly to ourselves for the long weekend. The parking is plentiful and directly in front of the unit. Hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back and would love to rent the entire property with friends in the future! The only negative is that all other sylvan properties will not compare in the future!

Excellent Sylvan Beach Penthouse

Our stay in the Penthouse at Sylvan Beach was EXCELLENT!! The property was even better than we expected. The openness of the 3rd floor allowed us to be together but not on top of each other. The couch was comfy, TV was great, table fit us all, and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. The bedrooms were large, except for the room with 2 beds, but even that had enough room to maneuver. The beds were very comfortable. The host left us dishwasher and laundry soap, both bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner and body soaps in pump-bottles in the showers, dish soap, towels for all needs, garbage bags, a spice rack, and other spices in the cupboard. We enjoyed using the grill on the patio and eating with a view. The views from the 3rd floor were spectacular and made up for having to climb the stairs lol. We even watched windsurfing on the windy day. There were people in other units during our stay but we barely heard them or knew they were there. With 2 hot tubs, being outside at the same time was not an issue. It was during the fall, so most of the attractions were closed, but we appreciated the slower pace while walking around and seeing the area. The host was great with communication and very responsive. I hope to be able to go back in the future and would highly recommend this property and host!
