Myself and 3 of my daughters stayed the night as we celebrated my daughters 40th birthday playing Bingo at Turning Stone 12 minutes away. We all loved the comfy beds!! There was plenty of room to cuddle into the large sectional and watch some girly movies. Wish we could have seen the lake right there, but it was snowing to much for that. LOL Thank you Tanya!!

Overall the property fell far short of our expectations and normal accommodations. Broken and missing window blinds in every room, off hinged doors, no full body mirrors and just small vanity mirrors available. Beds were without sheets and available bedding did not appear to be clean. The absolute worse and most disappointing were the bathrooms. Mainly, the upstairs bath shower curtain and liner were brown from mildew to the extent that I did not allow my family to use it! Bath mats were old and dingy as well . I will say the living area and bedrooms were of large size which was very nice for a family stay. The house felt more “camp-like” than what is personally desired . I do believe with a few updates, attention and most certainly professional or thorough cleaning between guests, the property itself could easily score a solid 5. Unfortunately, for the above mentions, I would not recommend as is.

Group of six Seniors traveling the Erie Canal Bikeway. The Verona Beach house was perfect for us. Everything we needed, and it’s size allowed us to spend more time together. Communication with Tanya was easy, Quick and clear. Would stay here again when in the area.

Quick and easy check-in. The house is walking distance to the lake and we got to see the prettiest sunsets. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies and a comfortable living room. Charming with creaky floors and steps. Definitely eat at The Farmhouse and the Sylvan Beach Bakery while staying here.

Weekend stay for Competition weekend

Worked perfectly with what we needed. Stayed with 3 kids and 4 adults and still have room to spare. Loved the quiet area with a short walk to the lake, cafe and restaurants. Host responded promptly and worked with our schedule. Thank you!

Return stay just as good as the first time!

This is our second year coming to this property for our winter family meetup and we love it! It has a great living area for our group of 8 people (4 adults, 4 teens). It’s comfortable, clean, and well situated. Highly recommend.

Turning Stone Sold Out

Was lucky to find this place. 15 minutes to TS for a show. Uber or drive its close. Tanya is great and the place was amazing with some views of the lake upstairs. We went in the winter, but this place would be amazing in the summer -located very close to Sylvan Beach.

Amazing for Families!

We stayed here as a rest stop during a long distance commute for a lacrosse tournament.The kids were 15 and 16 and absolutely lost their minds over the bedroom with the bunk beds. They immediately converted it into a man cave and set up their video games We barely saw them.The furniture was very comfortable and cozy in the family room, although no-one could seem to get the propane fireplace to work. There were some minor inconveniences like the sliding door on the downstairs bathroom closet coming off the hinges, and the closet door coming off the hinges in the upstairs bunk bed room when that was opened as well. The main light switch in the upstairs bath only worked occasionally, which actually became a source of fun to see who had the magic hands to get it to work! :P Another small issue which also became a running joke was the state of the neighbours next doors property. The kids had just watched a horror movie and were convinced this was the murderers home.The first mug I reached for in the AM from the cupboard was still dirty, and there was a dirty baking sheet in the oven that I noticed after turning the oven on to make dinner. There was also a gross wad of paper or some sort left in the sink that we noticed when we arrived. We would have loved to use the outdoor furniture, but the cushions were wet. All minor issues we still enjoyed our stay very much, and took a gorgeous walk by the water before we headed out in the AM.

Great stay!

More than enough sleeping space for all 10 of my family members and the beds were really comfortable. We didn't need more than just sleeping and showering this time around, but we are definitely considering a future stay here in warmer months.

Perfect for a group trip!

Our group really enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were larger than expected and comfortably accommodated our group of 7. We really enjoyed that there was plenty of room for all of us to hang out. Easy to navigate to and very clean! There was also a small market close by and it was very easy to get to Turning Stone. Host was very communicative and responsive.

Lovely home near beach

Rented for a short getaway with my Grandson and great nephew. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. Roomy bedrooms with comfortable beds. Coffee bar was a nice surprise. Host couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful. Short walk or drive to Sylvan Beach and restaurants. Walk to The Farmhouse for a delicious breakfast or lunch. I highly recommend this house for your stay!

Family Reunion at Verona Beach State Park

Verona Beach is a beautiful, friendly community in upstate NY. Very slow paced, relaxing, and very walkable, the area had all the amenities to make the stay easy. The house was very close to Verona Beach SP and an easy walk to Sylvan Beach as well. The house was spacious and well maintained, with things for some younger visitors to do as well as excellent WIFI which we come to expect in our all electronic world. Everything worked (washer/dryer/stove/ good hot water/etc). Well, there was a bulb out by the parking area or at least I didn't find the right switch for it and didn't it till the last night. Our plans about who could come or not, changed in the months leading up to our stay and the owners were very accommodating , as they were with a request for an early check-in time ( we were coming from a couple different states). That was very helpful! Check-in / checkout was a breeze and communication with the owners via text got a quick response. Thanks Tanya for a great, hassle-free stay!

Very Pleased

Family, myself (6 adults, 3 children) and our dog came to New York from Michigan to spend time with our 96 year old grandfather. The house was just as described and more. The accomodations were perfect and there was plenty of space for everyone. Tanya went above and beyond with all of my many requests and was very understanding and easy to communicate with. My family is forever greatful for Tanya in allowing us to make such wonderful memories with our grandfather. We will definitely be staying at Tanya's place again in the future.

Cozy retreat

A lovely place! We had a group of six women following a spa day at Turning Stone and cozied right in to this space. Space - it’s got room to sleep nine more comfortably and good beds! The kitchen and living space works well and great views of the lake just a short walk away. Quiet spot, nice accommodations and excellent communication with the host makes the entire experience a win!
