"My cousins and I very much enjoyed our 2nd stay at the Matteson’s rental cabin. It’s the perfect home base for a trip to Old Forge. It has everything you need - comfy beds, a nice bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge, microwave, and regular coffee maker, and a fire pit. We were grateful for the air conditioning too. Bridget is a kind and responsive host. We hope to come back ASAP! :)"

"We were initially hesitant as the property had no reviews but that's only because Pat is just starting to rent it out, so definitely don't let that stop you. In fact, book now before the word on this hidden gem gets out. The house is immaculate and modern but designed with a lodge feel and many cute details throughout. "Excellent location right on the outskirts of Old Forge. Secluded, friendly neighborhood (seasonal houses/cabins) just minutes from the lake. Pass allows access to a secluded, small community beach or swimming area on the lake. Camp Pawnee is exquisitely decorated with custom furniture, paintings and other fun decor. WiFi was great, and sufficient for our needs, including streaming services. Property manager was attentive, easy to reach by email and very friendly. Back deck and yard were great,...

"The Lola is such a lovely, cozy suite! The amenities and features were amazing, especially the bathroom, hot tub, bed, lighting fixtures, and fireplace. The only thing I wished is if check-in was a couple hours earlier to give more time to enjoy our stay! If you’re looking for a perfect spot to relax and enjoy yourself, this is it!"

"We had a great time visiting this property. It was three adults and two large retrievers. We had plenty of space inside, on the large deck and the huge yard. The road and neighborhood were very quiet but in such a great location if you wanted to go to Sylvan Beach for some action. The responsiveness from the host was nearly immediate and the check in/out was simple. The house itself was everything we needed to enjoy our week. Oh and the view, couldn’t get better. We loved watching a storm roll...

"My in-laws an my husband were camping in Old Forge for years and this time we got back with our kids to show them Adirondack mountains. Everything was great! The property is big, clean and ready to accept renters. Large fire pit was the place for our evenings with kids and grandparents. The balcony was our place for breakfasts and dinners. Very homie atmosphere. Close proximity to Old Forge. Loved it and will be back for sure!"

"This was our family’s 4th summer to the ADKs. This cabin was by far the BEST one! It had everything a family would need. Space, peacefulness, fully stocked with whatever you would need (from the kitchen to bathrooms to wood for the campfire). The kids never said they were bored once. Which if anyone knows our kids, that really says something lol. We are most certainly looking at booking this same cabin next summer. We just don’t know if we can do a full week. Owner - We’d love to do 5 nights...

"We had a 4 night stay. The weather was not so great,but we had a cozy comfortable place to stay so we enjoyed ourselves anyway. My wife particularly enjoyed a nice soak in the oversized bathtub"

"Get place to stay! We were able to check in early which was great. The place was clean and the bedroom were very spacious. It had direct access to the ATV trails for Oswego, Jefferson, & Lewis County. If we are ever in that side of the Hill we would definitely book again. Thanks!"

"This place was so adorable and had literally everything we needed for a fun week. Kind of a bummer that we had to bring our own sheets and towels, and there were some wet/moldy towels in the bunk room when we arrived (and also a random pair of wool socks?), but other than that we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We put the kids in the bunk room so the adults could have some peace, and it worked out great. Supposedly there is beach access for the lake with this property, but we never...

"This cabin was beautiful, no detail missed. The kitchen was well stocked, the furniture was comfortable and there were plenty of towels for our group of 7, which usually is not the case. The upstairs slept all of us comfortably and the bed curtains were a beautiful touch that added the perfect amount of privacy. The location of the hot tub and fire pit were perfect to allow our group to enjoy either while still being able to maintain conversation. No complaints. Definitely recommend a stay here "
