"Did not like the fact that my wife and I were getting ready to go to dinner Saturday evening and some other couple walked into our room because the office gave them a key to our room so we never left for dinner we never left the room again for the night after they walked in and then we seen the same couple come back to get into the room next door that was also already occupied not sure what's going on with the office help"

"This hotel feels like a slice of paradise nestled on the canal. The rooms are large, well equipped, and situated so that you can park your car and walk to a nearby establishment, nature stroll (10 min walk in wooded area or longer on canal) the room is clean and breakfast is good. I wish I tipped the staff more. The Cape is so expensive and these people work alot to afford all that life requires. So if your fortunate enough to stay and enjoy free parking, water views, breakfast, please please...

"Quiet, rooms are decently sized. They let me checkout when I needed to and are all around easy to work with."

"Despite all the positive reviews we were not happy by our stay at all. The sheets had stains on them and so did all of the towels. We had to ask for replacements for towels and even one of the two replacements was dirty and had staining. Eerie feeling and not many people stayed there too. Breakfast was just some very old bananas. Wifi did not work in our room at all either. Night stands were also not wiped down and the shower curtain was very much so yellowing and especially dirty at the bottom."

"The staff here was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and accommodating. The grounds were well maintained with beautiful flowers. It’s a hidden gem in Sandwich!"

"The facility is well kept and clean. However, my daughter was also staying at the hotel and her room smelled musty. It was on the first level. She didn’t want to say anything because she was traveling with her 2 daughters and did t want to disrupt them. I requested her to say something. Other than that, the stay was most enjoyable. Breakfast choices were also good."

"Check in was chaotic. I’m the staff called the room phone at 11:05pm stating they needed me to come back to the front desk for additional information. I asked the manager why they would call and wake me and my young child up past 11 pm for a reservation that had been paid for weeks in advance. They don’t tell you there are additional fees to use the beach / pool. The hallway smelled like cigarettes and many guests had barking dogs. Certainly not worth the price. "Generally personable staff; room service was excellent. Stayed here at various times over the years, the place has been slowly upgrading. This trip I had my dog, so was assigned a pet-friendly room on the lower floor, not facing the water. Everything was adequate, but I know that some of the upper floor rooms facing the water are nicer. No coffee maker in the room; one has to go to the lobby for coffee. A small thing, to be sure."

"I normally never write reviews but my experience here was so poor I have to say something. Showing up, I felt unsafe. On room had a window that looked into the hallway only, there was nothing but overhead lights, no lamps at all. Nothing on the walls and cinderblock walls. That aside, all night long we heard loud voices, doors slamming and there was absolutely no way we could sleep at all. We were up all night listening to all of the noise.
