"Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs. "Beautiful view of the beach but that comes with sand that escapes housekeeping. Property is undergoing some renovations so down to one elevator that is pretty slow. The staff at the front desk were lovely and Jay who works valet is a true gem. He was so kind to my mother who needs assistance with stairs. Pinky’s was nice to have on location. Nice stay with my mom to end our Charleston visit. "

"Our stay was superb! Breakfast was great. I especially enjoyed the chocolate milk. Staff was courteous when things ran out and would kindly retrieve what was needed. Upon arrival, the room felt spacious, clean, and comfortable. What stood out to me was how nicely our room was refreshed while we were out and about. We walked to a Trader Joe’s a few times which came in handy. Very pleasant stay in Mount Pleasant :)"
