Welcome to our magical place of tranquillity in Sullivan, which has a PRIVATE BEACH. We have personally thought about all the amenities and hope to provide you with all the comforts of home. The surrounding area has much to offer and will make your holiday a once in a lifetime experience. Oh, and it's pet friendly too!

The house has a fireplace to keep you cosy and warm during your stay, as well as air conditioning for the summer.

As this is a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge, hob, oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, freezer and microwave. A gas barbecue on the terrace is very practical in summer.
The house is an ideal place to relax and offers a television, internet access and a music system.

This house has 2 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 4 people.
In the first bedroom you will find a double bed.
The second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds.

There are 2 bathrooms.
The first bathroom has a toilet and washbasin, a bath and a walk-in shower.
The second bathroom has a toilet, a washbasin and a walk-in shower.

Bed linen, towels, shampoo, hairdryer and iron are included in the price to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Wake up to the song of loons on Frenchman's Bay.
Relax in our hybrid high-tech sauna with Swedish and infrared technology in a spa room overlooking the sea.

Just awesome

Loved every minute and wish we could just live here! Everything about the house was just perfect-everything worked, uber clean, stylishly decorated, grounds well maintained. Loved the sauna with ocean view!Minor quibbles: IMO hosts should always provide coffee. there was some old coffee left over from the previous guest-enough for one morning-but if it wasn't there we'd have needed to go to the store right away. It's nice to have a Nespresso machine-we have one at home-but impossible to buy at any retail store. Wish at this price point Nespresso capsules were included.On the night before we checked out I sent a message asking for an extra hour the next morning. Twelve hours later, I had no response.Neither of these small issues detracted in any significant way, though. The place is just superb! (but I'm very picky) :))

Spectacular views and great amenities

What a wonderful property and boat. You could not ask for a more beautiful view along the wrap around deck. The house was immaculate and our only complaint was we wished we could have stayed longer. We had our fur babies with us as well and the deck had a gate that allowed them to run around and have a blast. Truly a fantastic property and I hope to be able to visit again.

Best experience in Maine/Acadia

Frankly the best stay ever ! Blessed with beautiful weather we enjoyed every minute of the views, access to the private beach, and the comfort of this amazing retreat ! The setup of the house is just perfect, waking up in the morning looking at the water from our bed was just a forever memory ! So thankful to the owners for sharing such a gem.

Perfect Maine Romantic Weekend

Perfect retreat with beautiful view-owner needs to fire third party company

We've rented vrbo homes in past, but this was by far the worst checkin ever. After driving 15hrs to get there and messaging the host 2x with no response, we get to the home. We spent 2.5 hrs on the phone with VRBO agents who kindly and graciously tried to help us to no avail. They were actually having us rent another property, if we could, for the week and if we could not find one, we had to do a hotel. needless to say i was about in tears. At this time, it was 630 pm and finding a place that was comparable and going to be covered takes a bit of time After being on hold trying to get a resolution, a person who helps the property owner, called us and apologized. She was dismayed that an email with our check in information was never sent....travelnest is the intermediary company and they dropped the ball. --- once checked in, we had a fantastic stay. The view was amazing, the activities were close, and having a private Little Beach was perfect. The home was cozy with plenty of amenities to make it a perfect stay. Thank you for making our anniversary a memorable one,!!

Amazing home!!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few nights and it was absolutely gorgeous! The house was very clean when we arrived. The views of Acadia were stunning and hard to beat especially towards sunset. We wish we had more time to try out the sauna. WOULD COME BACK!!

A peaceful retreat

We loved our stay at The Lucky Stone retreat. Itā€™s a beautifully appointed home in a very quiet location. The views of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia are fantastic. The spa is also a very tranquil and wonderful experience. We enjoyed the ease of hiking on the Schoodic Peninsula. Itā€™s a little farther to get to Mount Desert Island but it wasnā€™t a bad drive. It was about 45-55 minutes depending on the day and time. We enjoyed visiting Bar Harbor but having this quiet place for ourselves and our dogs. The wraparound porch is awesome. There is also a nice gate that swings shut to close off the stairs. That allowed us to enjoy time on the porch without worrying about the dogs running off. I definitely recommend this location. We cooked pretty much all of our meals here and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks for letting us stay in this beautiful home!

Stunning place

The pictures on the listing don't quite do this place justice, it is absolutely stunning. When sitting on the deck the view is impeccable and seeing Acadia from the deck is the icing on the cake. I loved how clean and pretty everything was inside.

Relaxation at it's best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lucky Stone Retreat. The views are unmatched. We really enjoyed coffee in the cool morning air and evening beverages on the deck. It was so relaxing and quiet. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Bar Harbor/Acadia area.

Wow! Wow! Wow!!

Donā€™t miss on this one!! The other reviews were right on the ā€œmarkā€!! This place is extremely special and the view in the evening over the bay was magical. It literally felt like a painting. They have the place well decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. Not to mention the Swedish spa next door!! We loved everything about this place and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely Perfect!

This was by far one of the BEST rental homes Iā€™ve ever stayed at. From the views, to the cleanliness of the home, to ALL of the amenities and carefully crafted home features. The house is extremely well stocked for any type of cooking you prefer to do too! They did not cut any corners. My new husband and I had an absolutely amazing stay here. 100% recommend!

Poor response from property management

Great view, furnished beautifully, had all the amenities, clean, however began to wonder if it was a fraud. No response from property management until almost 9pm evening of check in so lost 7 hours of first day with no idea how to get in and no reimbursement. At 9pm went to pitch dark home after finally hearing from them to find front door unlocked and wide open. Scared and unsure what to do. Only response was perhaps housekeeping left it open. Not the response or concern I was expecting. Also beautiful sauna separate space in garage however when i went to check it out space had not been cleaned and dirty clothes left on chair from previous guest or perhaps housekeeping so unable to use at all unfortunately.

Secluded Getaway

This home is fantastic! Quiet location with unparalleled views (from both the living room and master bedroom) made for a great stay. So nice to gaze out over the bay, from inside or relaxing on the deck. We wanted to be able to access Acadia without the hassle of Bar Harbor and this place fit the bill perfectly! Property is excellently furnished, was very clean and well stocked for all of our needs. Great communication from a very responsive host. Hoping to stay here again!

Wonderful get-away!

This was a beautiful place! The setting right on Frenchman's Bay couldn't have been nicer. The view was amazing and striking even from the king size bed when we woke up in the morning- and while you're taking a shower! The interior decor was lovely and provided a very comfortable retreat after our daily adventures. We have rented homes a number of times through Vrbo and this was the best one yet. We had a great week!

Lovely Stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at Lucky Stone Retreat! The house is so warm and inviting, with all glass doors on one side that gives such a great view of the water and mountains in the distance. The house was well stocked with all of the essentials and the welcome packet had all of the information we needed to navigate the house and surrounding area. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Tranquil Paradise

Everything about this rental was fabulous. There were so many crowds driving through Bar Harbor we just couldn't wait to get back to our peaceful retreat. The house has everything you could want. The views are beautiful and the sauna and the entire property was so relaxing. We ended up driving in to Ellsworth and getting groceries and cooking dinner all the nights we were there since the house was so enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable and I could spend hours looking at the fireplace and the bay beyond. Would love to come back again.
