"Excellent stay. Great staff, very helpful, polite and really couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel was in a great location. Superb views, very clean and well presented throughout. The spa and treatment rooms were again exceptional. Breakfast was a continental style. Again, no food issues. Note: you do have to pay extra for an English breakfast etc….. Overall great value for money and would recommend. I’m sure we will return."

"Beautiful pub opposite a babbling brook. So pretty. Made welcome from the start. Lovely double room with all you need. Great breakfast that sets you up for the day and ate there each of our four evenings. Food very good. Would highly recommend so long as you are happy to drive down very narrow country lanes and reversing back every so often as they are one vehicle roads. Part of being in the country as is being woken by the bleating sheep, quaking ducks and flying geese. Loved it. "

"What a lovely property with lovely hosts. Made us feel welcome and relaxed. Breakfast is just great! Full English, whatever you like, loads of options like cereals, crumpets, breakfast bars, fruit, yoghurts, waffles to name a few. Hosts attentive and eager to please while being friendly too. Room was very nice with big sliding window and smart TV with the usuals like Netflix and Prime (bring your own accounts!). Wifi in rooms good too and beds are super comfy with 2 good pillows each as...

"Great communication from the owner Tom from the beginning as he phoned us in the morning to help us navigate through the road closures due to the air show and thousands of people attending. Had a lovely stay, comfy bed and great location. Would recommend and visit again. Just how a family owned guest house should be. "
