"It was our first time trying out a self catering apartment, and we really enjoyed the two nights there. Clean, spacious, it has almost everything you need, except for a laundry machine and shower gel /shampoo. Hazel (the family dog) was super friendly, and the sunset views were ridiculously gorgeous. Applecross is a tad remote, so come prepared with all the food supplies you need. "

"Overall, a great lodging in the heart of a quaint community. It was just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and a grocery. (BTW, if you arrive late, like we did shortly after 8, either quickly make to a restaurant–most close their kitchens by 8:30–or do what we did, go down the street toward the grocery near the water's edge and pick up things you can cook). "We very much enjoyed our stay at the Aigas Pond View cottage. We were traveling as a family of 5 including 2 teenage boys. We had plenty of space to relax, cook a meal and play some board games. It was a perfect area to call home while we explored Inverness, Muir of Ord, and Fort Agustus. My boys played a round of golf and had a wonderful time. If we ever make it out that way again, we'll be back!"

"The property was as advertised. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean. Check in was easy and seamless. We did have an issue with the oven not working so it would have been useful to have some sort of manual for the property. Perhaps we just didn’t see it. Overall a great experience. "

"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. "My wife and I loved our stay at the Lodge. The location was very quiet with lovely views. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen for meal prep.
