This beautiful 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home in the park is ready for a lazy day under the oaks! With vaulted ceilings, a single story open layout, a private pool (which can be heated for an additional fee), a fully equipped kitchen, and walk-ability to the Pier Village make this home ready for a family vacation. Enjoy a sunny day by the 6 ft deep pool on the private patio with an outdoor dining table and an outdoor shower to wash off the sand from the beach. Cuddle up on the sectional after a long day at the beach and watch a movie in the living room. With plenty of windows to let the sunshine in, this home is the perfect home for a relaxing vacation.

Only a short walk or bike ride away from St. Simons Pier Village district, which serves as the Downtown Social Hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining, and gathering spot. The Village also offers St. Simons Lighthouse, museum, Neptune park and playground.

No pets are allowed at this vacation rental. No fireworks allowed.

Family beach vacation

The house was perfectly designed for a relaxed family vacation with three generations: grandparents, kids, and grandkids. It’s a 10 min leisurely walk to the beach one way and to the main shopping area and restaurants the other way. We enjoyed the being able to come and go without having to drive all the time. The house itself had a wonderful central common area for dining, relaxing, and playing games, and the pool was refreshing and a nice break from the beach.

There were no bad qualities of this property. The house was in pristine condition. The only warning I have is wear footwear on the pool deck or else you can burn your feet.

Filthy House

House was filthy and still being cleaned when we arrived. Check in was at 4pm and we entered the house at 4:05pm. Cleaning ppl left the house still not clean (dirt on rugs, floors dirty and not mopped, smudges and food stains on fridge, doors, tables, cabinets, laundry still in the dryer that we had to fold). I contacted vacasa for a refund on the cleaning and was told that I entered the house early. I have proof my location and time stamps on my phone showing that I did not enter the house early. I've contacted them many times now and they are still continuing with their lie that I entered the house early. It's not even about the dirty house anymore, it's the lying. The time they are claiming I entered the house I was literally driving on the interstate. Horrible customer service, filthy home, lying cleaners and property manager. I would not rent this house if I were you.

Family Vacation

Really enjoyed our stay at Lazy Oaks! We have 2 grand babies this year, one 16 mos and one 7 mos, so the pool was perfect for us. Great location, perfectly stocked and beautifully done home! First time in St. Simons! We will be back. Renee H

Had fun!

Lovely and very clean home! Definitely rent a golf cart when you’re near - not necessary - but a bonus! Great beach, we frequented the access at Third Street, great shopping, great eateries! Lovely kitchen - pool was a huge bonus! Saint Simons Island was a great vacation!

Amazing home!

We loved everything about it - location is completely walkable to town and to beach, even with 4 kids under 5. Loved the 2 king beds for both groups of adults. Pool ledge was amazing for little kids and house was super equipped. We will be back!

House was in perfect location, well appointed and very clean. Pool was clean as well. Loved coffee on the front porch. First time using Vacasa and found it much better than VRBO. We will likely do this home again .

St. Simon Sanctuary

Our family had a great time on our vacation and loved the house. I wish I could pick it up and move it to Tennessee! St. Simons Island has become our go-to destination. We love the laid back feel and that you can walk to most places you need to go. We are already looking forward to our next trip.

Great Place in the Heart of the Island

The pool is perfect for a family outing, clean and really brings the property up to another level for a family vacation! House is clean, new and nicely appointed and laid out so that everyone can have their own space or get together to share some quality time.

Beautiful Home with a great pool

This home was beautiful, updated, and very clean. It was a very close walk to the village and beach. The only negatives to the home is that there were no tv’s in two of the bedrooms and the pool vacuum was required to stay in the pool at all times. I understand while the pool vacuum needed to stay in, but it was difficult to keep it out of the way while everyone was swimming. These were a minimal inconvenience and wouldn’t hinder me from vacationing here again. The home and area were beautiful.

When can we go back?

Pictures do not do this home justice. Open floor plan, quaint porch and a wonderful pool made this house a fabulous pick. It was within walking distance to town, which is full of restaurants, bars, and shops. You can't go wrong choosing this home. Enjoy your stay, we did!

Wonderful House!

The pool was amazing. The kids played in the pool every afternoon, while I grilled right next to them. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood that was close to the beach as well as the village area. Would love to visit this house again.

Fantastic house

This is a great house. It is new construction, open floor plan, very clean, and has high-end appliances and finishes. The pool is great for families because it has several depths, including a very shallow area that would be great for toddlers. Our kids are 8 and 7 and were in the pool for hours at a time. The location is also excellent, easy walking distance to the Village and our favorite restaurant, Porch. We also rented a golf cart for the week and used it go just about everywhere. Can't recommend this house enough.

Perfection!

This was the cleanest rental property we have ever stayed at! The home was beautiful with high end finishes. We chose this property for the excellent reviews and the private pool for our 4 year old son and it did not disappoint. The home was in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful family vacation

We were greeted by a generous open Kitchen/living floor plan that allowed full view of the outdoor pool. It was one of the cleanest homes we’ve stayed in at the island. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen for our family of 7. Loved that we could all fit around the dining table. It was a perfect location to walk to the lighthouse and downtown village.

Perfect Vacation Home!

Our family loved staying at Lazy Oaks and can’t wait to come back for another vacation. The house had everything we needed. Lazy Oaks was very clean and luxurious. Roniece was great help...Vacasa is on point! We’ve been coming to SSI for years and this is by far our favorite home on the island. The pool and bunk bed were a huge hit with my three kids. I loved the quiet street and well equipped kitchen. Thank you for a great vacation!

Cozy house with a great pool close to everything

We loved our stay at Lazy Oaks. The house was perfectly sized for our group of four adults and two kids (and could easily have accommodated a larger group). It’s just a short walk/bike ride/golf cart ride to the pier and the beach. There is a great park just a half block away. The pool is perfect for kids. We had a great time.

Amazing!

This house was the perfect little spot! It was very clean upon arrival and has a great layout for a big group! The backyard area was amazing! Close walking distance to the beach and the town! I would highly recommend this house to anyone going to St. Simons!

Beautiful Home, Amazing Stay..

My family loved our getaway at this beautiful home tucked away on St. Simons Island. The house was clean & had everything we needed. The pool was the icing on the cake! The beach & other great restaurants were only 5-10 min walk from the home. The Property Mgr was just a call away & made sure our stay was enjoyable. We will definitely come back to visit!

Great island home

We have stayed in this home our past two trips to St. Simons, after staying in many other houses around the island without ever returning to the same one twice. The combination of a beautiful, well-appointed home and an excellent location close to the Village but on a quiet street makes this a fantastic place to stay. We love this home and plan to book here for all our future trips to the island.

Lovely Visit
