"The place is amazing, for sure it has become my favorite hotel in Stroud. Location is good, around 20 minutes walk to town center. The rooms are incredibly, very spacious and well mantained with some very welcomed perks as a nespresso machine and a wireless speaker. The restaurant serves very good food during the day and breakfest is also delicious! Will be back many times!"
"We really enjoyed our stay at the Star Inn. The hospitality staff were beyond hospitable-Very attentive to us. We could have used a fan as it was warm but other than that very comfortable beds and clean rooms. The dinner menu of Greek food is very nice and of all the full English breakfasts we had on our Cotswold tour this was stood out to us and the absolute best one. There’s a lovely outdoor area for drinks or nibbles and a wonderful crowd of friendly locals. We loved it!"
"The best part was the early opening of the.swimming pool etc. without children till 0800. lovely pool, good layout, and receptionist very pleasant. Other staff all very helpful, too. Will be back again, enabled us to explore Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean."
"Hotel is good, next to Gloucester city centre. The room was ok, bathroom larger than in other hotels. Hotel was full, and breakfast was over-crowded. We had to sit on a small coffee table, and food was not enough for all the guests."

"These were incredibly comfortable beds that all four of us in my family each got amazing sleep in. The best nights sleep we all received during our two week trip in England. We felt like we were in a quiet country setting while still within a 20 minute drive of the heart of the Cotswolds and Sudeley Castle. "Nice hotel, rooms are big for English standards and very close to supermarket, shops, etc. Parking is not free but was charged only 5GBP for day, so that was ok. The only downside was that we were traveling with a lot of bags and they do not have an elevator, anyway, they have only 2 floors so we had to go only one flour up. Overall nice stay with no issues."
