"The place is amazing, for sure it has become my favorite hotel in Stroud. Location is good, around 20 minutes walk to town center. The rooms are incredibly, very spacious and well mantained with some very welcomed perks as a nespresso machine and a wireless speaker. The restaurant serves very good food during the day and breakfest is also delicious! Will be back many times!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Star Inn. The hospitality staff were beyond hospitable-Very attentive to us. We could have used a fan as it was warm but other than that very comfortable beds and clean rooms. The dinner menu of Greek food is very nice and of all the full English breakfasts we had on our Cotswold tour this was stood out to us and the absolute best one. There’s a lovely outdoor area for drinks or nibbles and a wonderful crowd of friendly locals. We loved it!"

"Have stayed here several times over a number of years - staff are lovely, food tasty and rooms comfy… stayed in the main house for the first time and although the room was lovely, it was directly above the bar so there was some noise - maybe worth considering if wanting an early night! Otherwise a perfect stay x"

"Everything was great. The check in was hassle free, the staff were very polite and professional and the room, perfectly clean. I did have an issue with the heater not keeping the room warm, when I arrived, but the 2 staff who dealt with it, went out of their way to solve the issue. The Hotel is very conveniently situated and there is ample parking and no potholes, unlike a similar Hotel nearby. The buffet breakfast is plentiful, varied and delicious.
