"Loved this beach house! My teenager loved the more private room on the ground floor. This feels like a home away from home. All the eclectic decor outside was charming. Peaceful. Plenty of spaces to spread out and just have some quiet time to yourself. Super easy walk to the beach and right at public beach access. Bed was comfortable. Everything we needed was there and we felt very nestled in and secluded. Seems this may be an older house that was updated perfectly - job well done. My ONLY...

"Awesome experience. The house was fantastic. We booked it for two nights and really wished we'd booked longer. Situation is perfect, the island is incredible. Kids loved the pool. Laundry facilities were really welcome (we were over from the UK at the midway point of a long trip around the Southeastern US). Everything we needed was in place. Such a short walk to the beach. "This was my third time at The Whale! I absolutely adore John’s place! The inside is very comfortable and clean. The A/C works great - stays very cool! The beds are super comfortable and the new fridge makes plenty of ice! The hot tub is my favorite feature where you can relax after a long day at the beach and gaze at the sky filled with stars. The location is awesome - very close to restaurants and the grocery. Also, a walking path to the beach across the street is a nice plus! John is a lovely...

"We enjoyed our stay hear. Unfortunately the weather was not very good for our stay but we can't blame anyone but mother nature. The couch could use an upgrade as it wasn't very comfortable. If the weather had been nicer we wouldn't have used it as much. We thought the place was right on the beach. It's only across the street but I thought it was right on. Overall it was a nice place."

"Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely perfect for my wife, my son, and I. The house was immaculately clean and well-appointed, and as a rarity on the island, not too big. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the short 2-3 minute walk to the beach, and from there a short 20 minute stroll to the jetty or the pool. (or a two-minute car ride). "Tucked away but close to the beach this home was clean, comfy, and a great overall place to stay for 4 nights with 4 of us. We loved the island and how relaxed it always was. The home was a good fit for our dog who could hang out in the fenced yard between the beach and naps. I would stay here again!"
