Nearby attractions include The Old Jail, The Fountain of Youth, The Great Cross, Castillo de San Marcos, St. George Street, and more. St. Augustine is central to many of Florida's best destinations, making it easy to take day trips to Tampa, Orlando, Daytona, Ocala, Cape Canaveral, Jacksonville, and beyond.

Vilano Beach is also perfect for shell hunting. Start at the southern tip and head north toward Ponte Vedra, passing through secluded beaches that are less frequented.
