"The house is amazing with a fantastic location on the Ocean with your own private walkway. All the rooms , especially the kitchen and bathrooms were extremely clean. The towels and bedding were impeccable. If you really want to relax and unwind , this is the place to go. The hosts were even more accommodating than we needed."

"Quiet rooms, plenty of space, 15-20 minute walk to downtown. Small pool table/dining table, lots of books and games besides the arcade room which is obviously awesome. A little mildew smell, but that’s not uncommon for an old home. It’s updated nicely without losing its charm. I would stay here again anytime."

"Captain’s Oasis was a great last minute find for our family! It was very clean and everything was just as stated in the listing. David was very responsive and our overall stay was great with really no issues or complaints. Would definitely recommend and would book with him again!"

"The place is lovely, when we first arrived we were checking things out, taking pics of this lovely place. The large bedroom upstairs has a step down that I never saw. I was carrying things in my hands and fell completely down in the floor. Thank God it didn't hurt me bad, but it could have being I'am 64 years old and have been struggling with sciatica for a few months now. I asked them to please put a sign of some sort letting people know about the step down so Nobody gets hurt. Thank you again...

"This is a lovely older style but wonderfully built South Florida home...having lived in Miami for years I love this house and the area it is in. It is so nice and so clean, I sat in the yard and imagined this beautiful yard in its hay day. I can only imagine how much love and care went into this yard and home. It is so close to everything and so well stocked. My husband and I and our best friends had the best time for our mini vacay..we will definitely rent the wonderful home again. "

"Very cute. Small. But just what we needed for the weekend. About 1/3 of a mile walking distance to downtown and Flagler. Toilet didn’t stop running, and parking in the driveway was tight but not a big deal. Other than that it was very clean. Had coffee and creamer in the fridge, hairdryer, which was all we needed for amenities. "

"Looking forward to staying at this house again. We were looking for a quiet retreat home with a pool. The neighborhood is well maintained and very safe. The location is about 8 minutes from downtown and plenty of great restaurants to check out. Already checking open dates for our next visit to the St. Augustine area. "
