Great family vacation for a large family

The place was amazing, so close to the ocean you can see it, smell it, hear it and in a few steps be on the beach. It was close to great food, entertainment and a short drive to downtown. It was the perfect place for our family vacation. Additionally it had an elevator for access for everyone so everyone can enjoy the balcony on the second floor or third floor.

Beautiful property! Plenty of room, everyone had own room and bathrooms. The pool is lovely and so convenient to spend morning at beach and afternoon in the pool. Convenient to lots of great restaurants. Only a block walk to Kookaburras coffee each morning and a short walk to Coneheads Ice Cream at night. Also Beachside Diner is great for breakfast. Lovely house and very clean. Would definitely stay again!!

Perfect holiday getaway!!

This house was perfect, very clean and organized!! We loved the beachy decor, all of the rooms were so comfortable, made it feel like home!! Location was amazing, a couple steps from the beach, great coffee shop on the corner, mini golf just a walk away, a couple min car ride to historic downtown. Our entire family loved the house and really enjoyed spending the holidays in St Augustine!!

Summer Beach Vaca

The location was perfect! close to beach and many great restaurant. Disney trip was about 2 hour drive and the kids loved it. The swimming area/pool was awesome! The only thing that i could suggest is to maybe have two single beds or a double bed in one of the rooms with a bunk and add a Television to the 3rd floor bedroom. Everything else was perfect!

Fantastic Property at an Ideal Location

Beautiful house, spacious and comfortable. Steps from a pristine beach and a great little coffee shop just across the street. While I was informed there would be no beach equipment, we were pleasantly surprised to find chairs, lots of towels and even a beach umbrella. Management was accessible and communicative and very accommodating. Slept 7 comfortably with 2 sets of bunk beds, a king, a queen, and a Murphy bed. Highly recommend this rental!

Fabulous Family Vacation

We had a fabulous time at the Beach House Retreat. It was perfect for our family. We had our two sons and their families staying with us. The pool was perfect for our three grandkids ages 6,9,11. The house was so close to the beach and from the top porch, you could see the beach and ocean. The beds were great and the kitchen was well stocked. There was a closet full of bath towells as well as a separate closet full of beach towels. There were four beach chairs to use and two buggy boards.We had a fantastic time and will come again next year.

Great getaway for long weekend.

The beach house was enjoyed by all and the teens loved spending some time in the pool after hanging out at the beach. The house is spacious and has pretty views from the main floor windows, the master bedroom and all the balconies. I was also happy with how quiet it was at night as well as being very convenient to Old Town.

3rd street address with Main Street amenities!

The house was perfect for our family gathering. The location is great for beaching, walking, eating out, eating in, pub crawling, bike riding, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better spot to hang out and enjoy all of the activities. The pool was fantastic for a relaxing swim and the multiple decks make for great ocean views and people watching. We will be back!

Wonderful!

The home was lovely-great views of the ocean from every deck both front and back. Plenty of utensils and cooking items in the kitchen and extra towels and sheets provided in closets. Just steps from the nice clean beach, and the pool convenient for active little ones. Plenty of patio seating for adults to chat while kids swim. Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance, and a coffee shop at the end of the street. Just two small concerns (certainly not enough to change the 5-star rating): the second floor bunkbeds were a tad wobbly, but we found an Allen wrench in the kitchen drawer that made it better. Fortunately, we didn't need the top bunk; the third floor was always very cold, despite trying to raise temp. Nothing a sweater or long sleeves couldn't fix. Overall, great place. We'd definitely stay here again.

Amazing location and Home!

The home was beautiful and well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious and very clean. we were super comfortable. Super close to the beach, just a few minute walk. Beach views were amazing, porch was my favorite spot. The only reason I gave a 4 for accuracy was because I found out a week before the trip that there was no grill/ beach chairs/beach towels. I brought beach towels with me but the home was fully stocked with beach and bathroom towels. The only thing we had to rent was the beach chairs and grill. Have not had to do that in any of our other beach rentals. Process was easy though, everything was delivered to the home. Our stay was GREAT!

Multigenerational family fun and sun

We enjoyed a great vacation at St. Augustine Beach with family members aged from 1 to 83! The property had plenty of space for everyone, a backyard pool, and multiple deck spaces for lounging and chatting. Very relaxing!

A wonderful stay at Beach Retreat

We just wrapped up a wonderful week in St. Augustine Beach. This property was exactly what we were looking for when planning a getaway for several families, including grandparents and grandkids. The pool and patio was perfect for our young kids, who spent hours swimming and playing out there. The safety gate was a helpful feature as well for those short periods of time where we needed to make sure no one was in the pool unsupervised, and we appreciate that beach towels and pool/beach toys were available on-site. The bedrooms were all spacious and nicely appointed, and the living area was ideal for breakfasts, dinners, and March Madness viewing with our large group all together. Bathrooms on each floor were spacious and had nice, updated showers and fixtures. We thoroughly enjoyed the decks, which provide excellent views of the beach and ocean. A two minute walk through the dunes was all it took to be on the beautiful St. Augustine beaches; this part of the beach seemed to be the quietest area nearby and did not have the same kind of foot (and car) traffic that we saw just a little bit south of our location. This house is just a short walk from numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream stands, and the area was quiet and peaceful all week. We highly recommend this property for families looking for a relaxing beach getaway.

Amazing view with a hiccups.

I want to start off by saying THE VIEW IS AMAZING. There was a few Hiccups that unfortunately we had to wait a few days to be fixed because we arrived late Saturday and we couldn’t get them fixed until the following Monday. The TV/Cable was not working throughout the house but right away Monday morning when we called they came out and fixed it. I do wish that they did supply childproof locks for the chemicals under the sinks because traveling with a two year old it would have been better. The pool was nice and warm! We thought the pool was low when we arrived. We didn’t think much of it until the pool guy came our last day there and filled it up to where it was supposed to be. It was about 4in short due to a leak in one of the filters he said. The microwave above the sink did not work so there was a no exhaust hood for when we cooked and we did a lot of cooking. There was mold above the microwave in the cabinet. We did talk to the property manager and he explained to us that there has been multiple issues with that and the owner has not replaced/fixed it. They did supply the property with a smaller microwave but you were on able to microwave a bag of popcorn without burning it which is unfortunate. There is also a portable crib and pack and play and booster chair on the property along with Floaties for the pool that was not in the description so we brought our own of everything and there is also Beach towels for the pool. Overall nice place to stay. The property manager company is great to work with. I think it it was just owner issues.
