"Beautiful view of Silva Bay. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious -- particularly enjoyed the Nespresso coffee, homemade granola and blueberry muffins, along with the yogurts and other breakfast items. When a power failure knocked out power to half the island, Dave and Melanie set up lights, fired up their generator in the morning, and kept us informed throughout the outage. We would definitely stay here again! "

"Recycling and garbage as you walk to the entrance and you walk by looking into the owners kitchen. The main area is also used as a staff room? There is a sign on the fridge that says staff use only and clearly has staff’s food in it. You only actually get a bedroom with a lock on it and a bathroom with cleaning supplies mops etc on the wall. I absolutely did not feel safe especially when I came back and someone had been in the suite. This is not as advertised at all. "

"Great harbourside location just a 5 min drive across the bridge will get you to downtown Victoria. Lovely to be able to walk along the harbour. Brewpub is a casual atmosphere for dining and a drink with a view. Our room was comfortable with a separate toilet room from the tub/shower room, both with their own sinks which was convenient. The heritage guest house has character and is showing its age but our room was clean. No in-room fridge and some light bulbs needed replacing (front building door...
