"This was a pleasant surprise- front desk staff upgraded us to a suite with views of both harbor and mountains when we told them it was my partner’s birthday. All staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and soft sheets. Location is right in the downtown area near all restaurants, shops, and public transit yet quite quiet. Our 3 night stay was excellent! "Unique experience. A look at old Alaska and Juneau. I enjoyed it. Not a place for people with mobility issues for sure. The only down side wasn’t the hotel but the numerous cruise ships. Plan to do things as early as possible to avoid the crowds in the afternoon. Unless you like crowds."
