2 bedroom spacious apartment near beaches, bus route & grocery store Open beam ceiling apartment that is tastefully furnished with washer & dryer that sleeps 6. Kitchen has stainless steel appliances with cook-top stove. Fully outfitted with all the necessities of a fully functioning kitchen. Brand new furniture through-out the home with the large bedroom having a King sized bed with a large closet and roll away bed and the second bedroom having 2 double beds with a large closet as well. Living room has a comfortable couch and ottoman along with a flat screen television with Apple tv as well as a dining area. Living room french doors lead out onto a small outside porch. All rooms have air-conditioning and free wifi throughout Located on a major bus route, steps away from the bus stop heading in both directions of the island. Across the street from gas station and 2 minute walk to grocery store. Home located on main road with traffic passing by. Bedroom 1 – King Bed with dresser & large closet with television (additional roll away bed if needed) Bedroom 2 – 2 Double beds with tall boy & large closet with television Living Room – Couch, flat screen television, Apple TV, dining room table Kitchen - Cook top stove and oven, pots & pans, glasses/tea cups, plates/bowls, cutlery, tea kettle, microwave (seasonings included all you need are the groceries) Fully functioning kitchen with washer & dryer Beach chairs, towels, cooler and snorkel gear for a day at the beach. Backyard alterations to include a sit off area with a bar and a barbeque for great entertaining. Nearby beaches Chaplin Bay - Secluded beach with plenty of gorgeous views to capture photographs. Across from the Army headquarters down the hill. No shops or amenities. You'll need to pack snacks and beverages. Horseshoe Beach - Voted one of the top 10 beaches in the world and around the corner from Chaplin Bay. It's definitely a must see on the island! There is a protected cove area perfect for children to swim safely. Restaurant and bar on site as well as bathroom and rental equipment such as chairs and umbrellas. Bermuda beaches are just a bus route away or schedule private taxi service for airport pick up or drop off and all island adventures. Nearby restaurants The property is located minutes away from a variety of family cuisine and take out restaurants including: Island Cuisine, The Wok, Mr. Chicken, Pizza House, the Swizzle Inn Restaurant, The Waterlot Inn Restaurant and Dock, Henry VIII and The Dining Room. There are also several restaurants within the Elbow Beach Hotel (Lido, Sea Breeze, Mickey's Beach Bistro), Fairmont Southampton Hotel (Jasmine Lounge, Newport Gastropub, Oceans Club, Waterlot Steak House, Bacci, Wickets) and The Reefs Hotel (Coconuts, Ocean Echo, Lounge + Terrace, Royston's). ********************************************************************************** Additional Bermuda Highlights Events Harbour nights Front Street Hamilton with local artisans and crafters, refreshments and more on hand for the public to enjoy. Annual Cup Match Classic Last Thursday and Friday in July - A MUST ON THE BUCKET LIST!!! This is probably the biggest event for Bermudians. The whole island enjoys two consecutive official holidays so that the islanders can watch the cricket match with both ends of the island playing each other. St. Georges Vs Somerset. Thousands simply go out to the game or camp out on the beaches and parks to celebrate. The whole island virtually shuts down during these two days. It is a great festival time in the island. Non Mariners Raft Up The Sunday after the Cup Match classic, boats raft up alongside each other and for the the day enjoy a day out on the water. You can call it anything but a race. For decades the event is traditionally known as non mariners race. Many local families and even tourists participate in this event. They make their own innovative vessels from virtually anything they can think of. One is not expected to use paddles, oars, engines or sails to powers these vessels. So with such funny hand crafted vessels none of which are seaworthy, the goal is not to win, but to lose. Non Mariners race is held at the quiet and sheltered Mangrove Bay.

    Great property!!! Lovely Owners!

    Beautiful location with a nice owner! The property owner was amazing and responsive to our needs. I would definitely come back and stay here. The property is clean, spacious, and had all of what we needed.

      Great stay!

      We really enjoyed our time at "Another World" in Southampton. The unit is spacious with plenty of space with two large bedrooms and a large sitting area to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook several meals during our trip, including a variety of spices/seasonings, which was a pleasant surprise. There was a convenient gas grill out back, too. The unit also has beach towels and chairs. Horseshoe Bay is a 20 minute walk away over a somewhat steep ridge that separates Middle and South roads, but we didn't mind doing the trek, because this unit was priced so well compared to other options closer to the beach. Bus stops, a shuttle to the Fairmont Southampton hotel, a grocery store, and several eateries are only a short walk away right on Middle Road.

        Great summer family vacation!

        Nice, clean, conveniently located, and well-stocked apartment, close to the beaches, bus stops, and a large grocery store. Very friendly and helpful owners who answered all our questions within minutes. It is about a 15-minute walk to the beach but even our youngest 6-year old son had no trouble making the trip every day. The apartment is spacious enough for a family of five, and having the grocery store and bus stops nearby was very helpful. Overall we had a great stay and would gladly recommend this place.

          Spacious and fully equipped. Very conveniently located to access all your Bermuda adventures

          Very good rental for family of 4 with two young children. The place is nice and clean. There is a good amount of outdoor area with seating and a BBQ. A shopping centre nearby makes stocking up an absolute breeze and Horseshoe Bay Beach is a 15 minute walk away via tribal road 6 (warning: steep hill).

            Nice flat in an excellent location

            Excellent location, close to the supermarket as well as within walking distance from the lovely South Shore beaches. The house was clean upon arrival, however it did not seem ready to host six people, as there were only four chairs at the dining table as well as four of everything in the kitchen (e.g. plates, mugs etc.). The outdoor patio looked a bit worse for wear, it appeared as though work was being done to renovate it. Apart from that everything was top notch, including the owners allowing a late check out time at no extra cost, which was very accommodating and very much appreciated. Overall my family was happy to stay there and would recommend the place to others!
