For the price we paid for this hotel, my family actually would've been happier at the Comfort Inn for ~$30-40 a night cheaper. "The hotel has been modernized- yet it has kept its historic ambience. The front desk staff was very helpful. The housekeeping staff missed a lot of details- but the front staff came through. The bar on the roof was fabulous! The location was excellent - Steps to Main Street restaurants and the many statue of all our presidents. The elevators are state of the art and take a little getting used to."

"The onsite restaurant provided a reasonably priced breakfast buffet everyday alongside regular menu items. The lounge served great food with healthy options for those of us with discerning palates. Our room was comfortable and in the perfect location for the festival we attended...across the parking lot from a beautiful park. Great stay."

"It’s okay for a place to sleep, room was pretty standard. Found 2 cockroaches in the room. Bathroom was clean. Towels had some stains. Staff was good. AC and parking available."

"The front desk staff were excellent, but the housekeeping department needs a lot of work. For what we paid, it was not what it was advertised to be. That being said, we appreciated that there was always hot coffee available and Monday through Thursday they offered complimentary beer, wine, sodas and kiddie snacks. I think our expectations were too high based on the photos and price."
