This is a safe and economic option for enjoying Red River Gorge. We loved having a private balcony and little rockers to enjoy our mornings. My only complaint is that the temperature of the shower shifted during use, occasionally becoming far too hot. I would not feel comfortable allowing a small child to use it alone.

Good place to stay with plenty of walking paths. Had a little tavern and restaurant. I had a nice flight of Bourbons. Lodge is very rustic. They still have the timer heater in the shower. A small shopping store inside next to the check in counter.

The property needs to be updated severely. The lobby furniture was truly uncomfortable due to its age and condition. Outside of rooms view is obstructed by debris from trees and weeds. Needs some clearing out and weed eating.

Beautiful scenic views from the dining area and all the rooms. Makes you feel like you are a part of the outdoors when you are standing on the balcony. The trails are right there. The Natural Bridge is so close. The food was good. Most of the staff was friendly. The young girl at the front desk doesn't seem to have social skills, but everyone else does.

Natural Bridge State Park Resort is a very nice place to stay. Room was clean and comfortable, dining at the restaurant was very good. Many hiking trails close by and do not miss the hike to Natural Bridge. Also took the Gorge Underground classic boat tour. That was a great boat ride in an abandoned Limestone mine. I would definately return.

Nice continental breakfast. Very poor shower, water pressure poor and water changes temperature frequently. In fact by the end of shower the cold water was off. Not very long shower either

Beds seemed super clean which is always a must for me. The floors were so dirty, every time you get into bed, you track up stuff from the floor with you. Our A/C would not turn on. Mold in the bathroom from vent not working. We did love the area and walking trails around the property!

The location of the property was a plus but every thing else was nasty. Our room had paint peeling from every where. If the person in the room next to you was using the toilet or running water and you were in the shower you would scolding hot water. We had ants coming up out of the drain. The only good thing is it’s not far from any hiking trails.

This hotel is right in the heart of everything. If you’re looking for a brand new or remodeled hotel this isn’t it but the bed was beyond comfortable, the balcony was gorgeous and the room was clean and spacious

Worst beds ever!! Hard as a rock mattress with no health code required mattress protectors on the beds. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told all the beds were like that and she gave me the name of the park manager Tim Hibbard as to be the one who didn't think keeping guests free from bed bugs or soiled mattresses was important. Other wise, everything else was fine.

Check in was fast except if you have any questions about the property, the front desk give you attitude for taking up their time watching Netflix and gossiping about their family. Got to our cottage and inspected the place. I saw mold under the sink and shower, 25 baby spiders in the corner of the room, and 7 daddy long legs in the closet, rust on the whole fridge from the outside to the inside. I made the front desk aware of my issues and she said they already knew about the mold that it won’t be resolved. I just felt unsafe my whole trip to sleep there. You need a tetanus shot to stay in the cottages! At least offer us to move to the inn!

When we first arrived the room we had had no hot water they couldn’t move us because there was no other rooms available on Saturday. They finally moved us to another room at like 3 o’clock in the afternoon and the water pressure was like nonexistent, but there was hot water, but not even enough hot water to fill the tub to take a bath. We have been staying here for years and I’m super unhappy with our last day. No hot water couldn’t move us and then the terrible water Pressure Not the best day I’ve had there.

It was a huge cottage. Water pressure was low but it wasnt bad. The steps going up could be challenging for some. 49 steps to grt to the cottage.

I did not like that there was no ice in the ice machine. And I had to go back to the desk twice to have my room cards redone because they would not work!!! Ky Parks you can do better!!!!

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was safe, clean, and warm. We went hiking and everything was easy to find. The restaurant at the resort was very good and affordable. We definitely planning on going back. The staff was very friendly.

If you come expecting a five star experience you will be disappointed, but we came for the amazing location, with access to great hiking, and found the lodging experience to be better than anticipated. We rented a one bedroom cabin and found it adequate. My one suggestion would be more lighting. We heard some of the cabins had long stairways to access but our was fine. We also were told that the walk to the lodge was not advised so we drove there for dinner, but next morning we did walk over for breakfast and it was not a problem at all. Both of our meals were very good, again not fine dining but I enjoyed the Kentucky hot brown for dinner, and the sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast and both were very tasty!. The servers at dinner were very sweet and helpful and couldn't have been more enthusiastic. We will likely return.

We checked in very late and were still greeted with as much enthusiasm as we would have been if we checked in at 3pm. Staff is incredibly nice.
