"The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue. "We had a great stay here for a few days visiting Mammoth Cave and the surrounding area. The location will be much more convenient to the park when the ferry reopens, but we still found it easy to get around and felt safe in the community. The cabin is laid out well for a family to stay, and has nice features for kids. Our preschooler loved the kids nook and some of the books and games there. All the beds were extremely comfortable.
