"Bad check-in experience. The receptionist was lazy, didn't tell us anything about the hotel, didn't offer us the possibility of a paid upgrade, didn't want to sell us the beverage package. Regarding the room, it clearly needs an urgent renovation. Old bed, old bedding, old tv. 3 star hotel standard. I can't understand how this hotel has the Shangri-la flag. As for the staff, very kind."

"The balcony had a beautiful view over the gardens to the sea. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful with many many choices. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There were many activities available if you chose like weaving, tie dying… and during the evening most evenings a show, like island dancing, fire dancing, island singing… and… I really liked it was quiet by 10pm. "

"Something to keep in mind, is that this property is older. If you’re looking for 5** results in an older property you’re going to be dissatisfied. This property is clean, with great room sizes, beautiful views, great staff, good entertainment. The pool is clean and there’s plenty of equipment to borrow. Meals (lunch/dinner) can be on the pricier side, but there are good options a few mins drive away. If you have allergies, speak with the staff. Not many Gluten Free options. The beach is...

"Great resort, nice Bures, good restaurant and bar, with reasonable prices. All staff are super friendly and helpful. Beautiful gardens. Free and ample parking on site. Loved watching the sunset over the ocean every evening. Highly recommended. "
