"This pl"

"This was our second stay at the Hobbit House, and it was just what we needed. All we did was relax on the screened-in porch, relax in the hot tub, and relax watching movies. It was perfect in every way. The Hobbit House was spotlessly clean, comfy, cozy, and just a delight to visit. Will definitely want to stay again/100"

"Pallabi was fantastic to work with, clear communication and quick responses. Our family had such a lovely visit with our friends here and enjoyed all the amenities. The check in and check out process was the easiest I have had yet. This property is great for kids and adults. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Lovely location on the river. Fire pit, screened shelter overlooking the river, hot tub, sauna. Pool table and tv room in a separate building, keeps noise out of the house. Didn't spend the extra 300 to heat the pool, instead went to the water park. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our family of 10. Kitchen and cooking supplies were good. Water pressure in the kitchen sink was very low, but the dish washer worked fine. Wifi was good. Variety of coffee makers.ALL IN ALL A VERY NICE STAY."

"The river view was beautiful, but easier access would have been better. It is a lot steeper than pictures show. The fire pit area was nice, but loose gravel made it very slippery if you got too close to the edge of slope. Overall, this house is perfect for families. The bedrooms are spacious and each has a private bathroom. Six adults and four kids had plenty of room. TVs are in each room, as well. The screened in porch is very large with a dining area and TV area with couches.Would...

"Very beautiful and relaxing trip! Only suggestion I would have would be to add protection on the spiral staircase. Hitting your head on the edge isn’t fun. Very responsive host and very beautiful location"

"This is a breath taking property. There was plenty of room for our 7 adults and 2 kids and the direct access to the river was by far the best part of our stay. My only constructive criticism would be focusing on the cleanliness of the hot tub and that not all of the tubes, kayaks and paddles were usable, but we made do. Overall, this lovely place and would recommend!"

"Very nice property. Enjoyed our time and would definitely go back."

"Perfect location for a family trip! Plenty of on-site activities and space for everyone. 18 guests, 3 generations - we loved it!"

"No River Access, no way to use kayaks, no king bed. First the property is very nice and clean. Had all the tools and supplies we would need. Problem was there was a king bed listed. There was only the queen and bunk beds. I am 6'6" so this was a selling point over other houses. Also there was no River Access to use the kayaks or go fishing. I was told to go on another property to get there, nope. They also spring on me after I booked it was 150 to rent the kayaks, very expensive. Also note that...

"Wife and I and my crew chief stayed here overnight when I raced at nearby Shenandoah Speedway. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. When the only real complaint was no sugar for the coffee, when there was cream, you know it's OK. The towels were nice and fluffy and the cottage smelled clean, not like recent disinfectant. Hot water comes on quickly and the adjustable shower head worked well with no clogs. Only real issue was that our mattress was too soft for us. But my crew chief said...

"We enjoyed our stay at this property and it was clean, well equipped with all the modern conveniences, and provided a nice alternative to a hotel. It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day."

"It was pet friendly and very close to Shenandoah."

"What an incredibly clean and pristine property! This home is freshly built and it shows it! Nicely decorated to reflect the property and awesome views from every side! Though Elkton, Va might not be the vacation destination for many, if you are passing through, or planning a trip through the Shenandoah, you definetly want to stay here! Responsive and kind host that takes an interest in her guests stay! I highly recommend! You cannot go wrong staying here."

"Great location the house was beautiful and clean with ample room for our family would stay here again and recommend it. Loved it"

"Great space for many guests with lots to do. We really enjoyed the game room and great outdoor space."
