"Enjoyed a rainy day relaxing at the Eagles Nest. Host was responsive and the property was as advertised. Check in was easy, an the hot tub on the enclosed deck was a perfect stress reliever. "Check-in was great. The Castaway Cottage was just how it was listed. The back porch was the best part, it was big enough for the whole family to hang out. Unfortunately when we were there it was very hot and the ceiling fans on the porch did not work. Maintenance came to try and fix them but he could not. "Had an amazing family gathering! The house is really large, and accommodated us well. The layout makes the house feel a bit of a maze, and there is only one en-suite, but we found everything we needed! Two small issues- the top bunks in the 2-bunk room didn’t have railings so our kids were afraid to sleep up there, and the septic system caused some problem, but had great response from the owners and the maintaince personnel came out quickly. "

"We had a fabulous weekend getaway at this property. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location is great for access to hiking trails and the Shenandoah mountains. When we arrived, the hot tub was not cleaned and was cold but the owners responded right away and got the cleaners to arrive within a couple hours to clean it. They were extremely responsive and answered all questions quickly. "
