This apartment is close to the lively Mateos Gago street, right next to the Giralda and the Santa María de los Reyes Cathedral. A sophisticated two-bedroom property housed in a new building, yet preserving all the charm of Sevillian architecture on the outside. Inside, a modern apartment with all the comforts you could wish for.
The interior décor bears the stamp of one of our star designers, the renowned Ernesto de Ceano, who makes the most of the serene geometry and practical distribution of the home with his contemporary style, exquisite selection of furniture, and imaginative decorative solutions. Superb finishings –floors, windows and doors, insulation, all of the highest quality– exude just that air of prestige and comfort we want to reward our guests with, for we are just as discerning as they are.
The name of the apartment has not been chosen at random: Puerta del Sol, sunlight streaming in from early morning, all year round. A privilege which can best be enjoyed from either of the property's two terraces.
The first of these terraces is accessed through the kitchen and is equipped with a table and four chairs, perfect for starting the day with an al fresco breakfast. Coffee and sunlight: bring on the day! The kitchen is designed in a flowing, contemporary style, equipped to the detail with the best white goods and appliances. A washing machine and dryer are housed within a wall cupboard.
The bright living room is at the end of the corridor, and gives access to the main terrace. This is literally the "Puerta del Sol", providing a way in for the light which streams into the apartment over many hours of the day. The terrace can best be enjoyed as a solarium with views to the Giralda and Seville's picturesque skyline. Fear not, sunbathing can be indulged in out of sight of prying eyes! With outdoor furniture and a shower, nothing better than to freshen up here after a quiet siesta or a sunbathing session... and feel free to ration your exposure with the large awning provided!
The living room is a prime example of Ceano's creative instinct: balance and an intelligent use of space, with a sophisticated selection of designer furniture, singular refurbished pieces, and more personal objects. There is a sitting area with audio system, TV, Plywood table and chair, and a comfortable and exclusive designer sofa. The dining area is fitted with a Saarinen tulip table and beautiful Hans Wegner CH24 chairs, designer hits of the 20th century and a firm favourite with the designer. There is also a working area, with a refurbished raw wood table.
The sleeping area has a large master bedroom with direct access to the solarium-terrace. It has a large built-in wardrobe, contemporary designer tables and lamps, and an en-suite bathroom with rainfall shower.
The second bedroom has a single bed, a spacious wardrobe and a small work area.

Puerta del Sol is located in the same building as Puerta del Sol II, a sophisticated new building next to the lively Mateos Gago street and right on the doorstep of the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter of Seville. A truly privileged location in the historic centre of the city, just steps away from the Giralda and Seville Cathedral, the Royal Palace (Reales Alcázares) and the Archive of the Indies, and surrounded by bars and restaurants in which to enjoy typical Sevillian fare, or shops in which to buy local crafts. The apartment is just a short walk away from other important sites, such as the Murillo gardens and the old tobacco factory to one side, and the city’s commercial centre on the other. The perfect pied-à-terre for enjoying the myriad options Seville has to offer all year round.
The best way to get around Seville center is on foot. If you plan to arrive by car, let us know in time so that we can look at the best offer for parking in the area. Home at Homes recommends the service of CABIFY to move around for larger distances. Bicycle is also a good option in Seville.

Prime location, location, location! This place is spot on in the heart of pedestrian only, Casco Viejo. Met with Martha who even helped shlep our luggage to the apartment. She was thorough and gave us great recommendations.Comfortable space, super quiet despite being in the heart of the town, great a/c, nice water pressure and comfortable bed. We felt safe and really enjoyed our stay.

This property was in an amazing location. Walking distance to everything and just off a beautiful street filled with orange trees and lovely cafes. And it had a spectacular view of the cathedral. It was clean and well kept and the communication with the owner was wonderful. I would highly recommend this property.

The VRBO in Seville was wonderful. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, including spices, laundry pods the air-conditioning worked Excellent. The location was perfect. We really enjoyed staying there.

Beautiful and convenient location.
We stayed for three days during the feast of Corpus Christi. It is a very festive time to visit, and you can really experience the culture, warmth and hospitality of the residents. The apartment is in a very convenient location, a short walk from the cathedral and lots of shops and restaurants within 2 buildings of the property. However, the street was very private as cars are not able to pass through. It is a short walk 1/2 (250 feet) from the taxi drop off to the property. The apartment is well maintained and clean. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and toiletries are provided. The kitchen has a Nespresso maker with pods. Kitchen implements are complete.Check-in and check out is very smooth. Karina met us at the apartment during check in. She provided us with maps and excellent suggestions on transportation, restaurants and entertainment. She also kept the lines of communication open in case we needed help with anything. She was very kind and helpful.We really enjoyed our stay in Seville and would recommend this to everyone. Of all the cities we visited in Spain, Seville was the best.

Great apartment and super quiet!
In the heart of the old town, just steps from the Seville Cathedral and lots of restaurants and shops, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful, and the A/C worked great, which was super helpful in the Seville summer heat! The property manager was very responsive, and Marta even took our luggage up three flights of stairs, as the elevator was broken during our stay. Highly recommend!

Should have been great - but a disappointing experience
In many ways this is a great apartment - central location, lots of space, well equipped and super clean. My rating is based on the host not fulfilling a request and not dealing with it at all well. A brand is ultimately judged on how well it deals with a problem, and in this case Vrbo and the Host severely let us down. If you don't have a problem this will be a great place to stay - I hope you have a better experience than we did. Such a shame as this should be a wonderful property.

Beautiful Sevilla Apartment
Perfect home base for our stay in Sevilla! Walking distance to everything. Clean, modern and very comfortable beds! We especially lived lounging on the patio with a view of the top of the cathedral! The management company was friendly, responsive and very helpful. I hope to come back and stay here again!

We recently stayed in this flat for an extended period. It was a wonderful property for the two of us, in an ideal location. The flat is well appointed with high quality appliances throughout. The process with host/agent was flawless. Our only very slight disappointment was that the outside patio areas of the flat did not measure up to the photos provided on the VRBO listing. Nonetheless, we would highly recommend this property.

Amazing apartment in Sevilla
The location is excellent, just off Mateos Gago with plenty of dining choices nearby. Catedral Sevilla and Real Alcazar are just minutes away. The apartment is well provisioned, clean and comfortable. The outside terrace with view of Giralda is amazing on our sunny days. The elevator was a welcome relief after our walks around town. This is one of our best ever finds for travel. Highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment in a great location
This was a beautiful apartment. The location was great - right in the middle of the old town, just around the corner from the cathedral and plenty of bars and restaurants. The fact there's a lift was great for us. We weren't able to enjoy them because of the weather but the two terraces (one with an amazing view of La Giralda) were both lovely. We really couldn't have asked for more.

Would Give 6 Stars if I Could
This place was incredible! I didn’t realize how close to the cathedral it was until we arrived. The location can’t be beat. Close to bars and restaurants and yet the balcony is set up in a way that you know people are down below but there’s a sound barrier so there is some peace while looking at the cathedral tower all lit up at night.
The unit is very well stocked. Everything we needed to cook in if we chose to.
The washer and dryer was fantastic especially since I was travelling with my 5 month old. The balcony even has a drying rack and the warm October sun dried everything so quick.
The communication from the hosts was wonderful and they provided lots of recommendations for us.
Would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Seville!

Amazing location!
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment with spacious terraces. The apartment is modern and bright. I cant say enough about the location - it is steps from many wonderful restaurants and the cathedral. I would say its in the heart of the historic area. We really appreciated the personal check in. Marta met us and spent over an hour showing us the place but also answering our questions. It was a warm welcome and great way to start our holiday in Andulucia. We would stay here again.

Perfect in every way!
Fantastic location! Very comfortable apartment with deck overlooking the Giralda Tower. Kitchen well equipped. Restaurants galore right out the door. Walking distance to all the sites. The team provided restaurant recommendations that were fantastic. Having a washing AND dryer was great. Loved it.

Amazing
The location was perfect! It was close to everything, food and great things to see. The place was very clean and comfortable. After being in very nice but old places, it was nice to be in a modern upgraded place. After staying in places with many stairs, an elevator was a welcome amenity. I would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic apartment
The apartment was modern, very attractive, patio doors in both living room and primary bedroom out to spacious patio that’s fairly private and has bonus of outdoor shower. Second smaller patio off of kitchen. Immaculately clean. Very close to street with wall to wall tapas bars and cafes steps from cathedral and cathedral plaza. It was quiet and peaceful inside apartment which is on small side street

Perfect stay in the middle of everything
The apartment was amazing! The views from the private rooftop deck became a regular part of the day as we unwound from a day of sightseeing. The apartment was immaculately clean, well appointed, comfortable, and we couldn't imagine a better location, yet, despite being the heart of the action, there was very little street noise to contend with. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing property and location
This property and location were simply amazing. It was just steps away from Calle Mateos Gago (which has a variety of restaurants and bars) and a 3-minute(!) walk to La Giralda and Catedral de Sevilla. Another minute, and you're at Puerta del Leon, the entrance to the Royal Alcazar! We also walked to Las Setas and Plaza de Espana, both 15 minutes or less.
The property itself is modern and well-kept. We had everything we needed, including an in-unit washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable, and the unit was very quiet when we visited in mid-December. The central heating worked well, but we only needed it on a few nights. This is a top-floor unit (with no one above you), and the patio has a nice view of La Giralda. Unfortunately, it was raining so we were not able to use it as much as we would've liked!
We were met at check-in by a nice young man who gave us a tour of the unit, along with tips on where to eat and how to log in to the wifi, etc. We completely enjoyed our stay! My little one kept asking whether this was our new home now and was sad to leave...
