Retreat

A lush oasis

Mini-paradise
The house was large, well-equipped and clean. Kevin came over to greet us after we arrived. This is only five minutes from the town of Sequim, but back in the woods, somewhat secluded, quiet and amazingly well-kept grounds. We did not need to do any cooking, but if we had, the kitchen seemed set up well for the task. BE WARNED - no internet or cell service. I missed this, but it's right in the listing, prominently mentioned. But for the few days we were there, it was actually a relief to disconnect. If you can break away from your digital addiction, this is a fantastic find.

Garden Getaway
Lovely, tranquil, beautiful setting. Kevin & Susan are delightful hosts. The Pottery house was perfectly set up for our last minute weekend anniversay holiday. We enjoyed cooking, walking the grounds, playing with the dogs, taking multitudes of photos including the deer and chickens of which the later provided a wonderful morning wakeup call! We look forward to staying again.

Beautiful property!
We went on a journey through BC and Washington to many places with another couple. I think I liked this place the best for the peace and beauty of the property. The unit was large and complete. I do have one complaint. The second bedroom has a full-size futon bed, which is livable for a couple, though small. The problem with futons is the mattresses are rock hard. A Costco memory topper would be a simple and effective solution. Otherwise, the hosts are a great couple and this was my favorite place of all the places we stayed!

Amazing and Unique Property!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only negative is that we did not have enough time to enjoy tranquility as we were gone from sun up to sun down. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here.

Serene stay
Beautiful property with gorgeous gardens and orchards, close access to river and forest etc...Susan and Kevin were fabulous hosts. I'm hoping to go back for longer next time.

Beautiful quiet location!
The Pottery was a great place to stay. It was clean, decorated beautifully, and in a quiet and safe location in Sequim. The grounds are simply gorgeous. The kitchen was great to prepare meals in as well. Kevin and Susan were delightful to meet and talk to ... Great hosts! The location is convenient to Port Angeles, where we took in a whale watching trip, as well as a day trip to Olympia National Park's Hurricane Ridge and Sol Duc Hot Springs. We were very happy with the entire stay!

Gorgeous Gem
Five stars for everything! Peaceful beautiful location with lovely gardens and privacy. Susan and Kevin welcomed us and were available as we needed. The house is bigger than we expected and thoughtfully and aesthetically appointed. Comfy elegant furniture, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed. Lots of hot water. Impeccably clean. This place is clearly loved and well tended. We had a wonderful time here on the first leg of our peninsula holiday, with good access to Hurricane Ridge and diners in Port Angeles. We’d definitely stay here again.

Little Taste of Heaven at Reverie Gardens
I can't say enough about this 2.5-acre slice of heaven. Very convenient, just a few miles from downtown Sequim. Kevin and Susan were kind, helpful, and delightful folks. The Pottery was clean, welcoming, beautifully decorated and there were fresh floral arrangements and bread to welcome us. The highlight was THE GARDENS. Susan has been crafting this property into a haven for 50+ years and it shows. So many beautiful flowers, attracting a wonderful array of birds, butterflies and the like. We can't wait to come back!

Girls Trip Bliss
Susan and Kevin have created Nirvana. The three of us ladies have demanding jobs and really needed this. The moment we pulled in the driveway, we were overwhelmed with the beautiful gardens and whimsical structures. We enjoyed cooking delicious meals both nights and dined on the patio. We had a comfortable stay and everything we needed was at our fingertips. The apartment which felt more like a good sized house is beautifully decorated and offers a calming and relaxing feel. Susan and Kevin are wonderful hosts and we happy to walk with us through the gardens and help us identify the beautiful plants. Great location.

This is one of our favorite places!
Any time of year, it's spectacular -- the grounds, the flowers, the birds and chickens, and of course the house itself! This was our second time visiting, and we look forward to lots more visits!

Lovely & peaceful
Delightful and helpful hosts. They had delicious apples from their garden waiting on the kitchen counter for us. Beds were the best!! We slept like babies. I would highly recommend this little house tucked away in the middle of flowers and fruit trees.

We are so overwhelmed with the hospitality of Susan and Kevin ( and Lucy) This property is amazing and the space is lovely I cannot wait to return! Loved watching the salmon spawn and biking the trails with Kevin and Lucy Xoxoxo can’t wait to come back!!!!

Beyond expectations!
We stayed 2 nights at this lovely house and feel recharged. Our hosts are gracious and friendly so easy to talk to, and their dog and cat made the stay more fun. There’s a shelf of books, DVDs and games, we didn’t even miss wifi and cell service. What makes this property a true gem is the amazing garden of flowers and plants! Thank you, Susan & Kevin, for hosting us.

More stunning than any of the pictures
We stayed here for two nights as part of a surprise engagement with a friend. The garden is huge and stunning. This is hands down the most beautiful rental I've ever stayed in. The house was really unique, thoughtfully decorated and very clean. I can't wait to come back. Their dog, Lucy, is such a cutie!!!

Perfect for a relaxing vacation
We enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous garden house 5 minutes out of Sequim. It's in a perfect location if you want to do day hiking in Olympic. The house has everything you need (except internet of course). Susie and Kevin are great hosts. They communicated well, and were very helpful to us. Last but not least, they have some very cute pets that made our stay even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend this place.

What a wonderful place! Inside and out, this was a beautiful retreat. The garden was teeming with fabulous flowers and vines, and was a pleasure to quietly wander and explore. The house was comfortable, with lively and personalized touches, and Kevin and Susan were gracious and generous hosts. We spent some time exploring nearby Port Townsend and Olympic National Park, and would have been happy to spend one more day just soaking in the tranquility of The Pottery and its gardens.

Spectacular property
Kevin and Susan were absolutely lovely. The property was beautiful and immaculate, both inside and out. We loved staying there and hope to visit again very soon! We would give them 10 Stars if we could!

Wonderful getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kevin and Susan's charming ''pottery" home. There were many special touches to make us feel welcome and special. The crackling warm fire in the stove and fresh flower bouquets greeted us in addition to fresh farm eggs in the fridge. The pictures do not do the home justice. It is filled with special and unique touches of art, antiques and genuine warmth that make it feel so cozy and homey. It was a delight to chat with our lovely hosts whose hospitality and warmth are reflected in their entire property and care of their guests and the house. Slowing down to watch the birds and chickens and enjoy the genuine country feel of this lovely property was a treat. We totally unplugged and appreciated the recommendations made by Kevin and Susan. If you want a delightful, peaceful and comfortable getaway, we highly recommend this beautiful place. We look forward to returning.

The Pottery is an incredibly warm and charming escape. We spent the long President's Day weekend during the recent snows here in the PNW. Kevin & Susan are perfect hosts and provided everything we needed, even if we didn't know we needed it! The fresh hen's eggs were a delicious touch!

Great Spot, lovely grounds, highly recommended
My wife and I stayed here for a few days this summer- we loved the property with all of the fruit and flower trees. The hosts were very gracious, prompt, and friendly. We enjoyed the fresh eggs left for us in the fridge :) The location was perfect for us- it felt totally secluded, yet was a very easy 10 minute drive into town for groceries/restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here again!

A magical enchantment
Words (or photos) can not express The beauty of the gardens and grounds. While there, the four of us ages 65-75, kept so active walking the gardens and surroundings. Easy access to the Olympic National Park. We loved, loved our hosts with the spirits of angels, giving, nurturing and making our stay totally wonderful!!! So quiet and private... heaven on earth. We are going back soon.

Practically perfect in every way!
We really loved this beautiful, whimsical cottage in the woods. Everything was well beyond our hopes and expectations! The cottage is really beautiful and comfortable, nestled in the most amazing gardens. We had only two regrets: 1. No internet access (wifi or network) 2. We did not plan to spend more time enjoying the gardens, the grills, the sites and the smells.

We thoroughly enjoyed this place and highly recommend it! The hosts are charming and warm people who are not intrusive, but are always available to help with any needs you may have. The home is clean and well layed out for comfort, enjoyment, and privacy. An inviting place indeed! Beautiful gardens around the home are well maintained and filled with delightful and interesting treasures. Beautiful hikes and bike rides are also close by. The only struggle some folks may have is the lack of internet. I recommend you unplug and enjoy the area and each other. However, if you are so addicted you can't go without it (I know there are some legit reasons for internet need (some real, some self fabricated) you can go down the road about a mile and get your fix. But, I encourage you to unplug, relax, and enjoy this area as well as interacting with each other. We hope to visit again soon!

A perfect place too get away
My friends and I needed a peaceful get away and this was the perfect place! Sue and Kevin were welcoming and extremely friendly, they even shared some fresh eggs and vegatables from their garden. The property was gorgeous and we enjoyed drinking our coffee in the gardens. There were plenty of furry friends to pet and hang out with all weekend which was one of my personal favorite parts about the property. The house was well kept and comfortable, we did a lot of cooking and the space was perfect for us. I couldn't be happier with our experience and we will definitely be back!

Cabin is remodeled and tastefully decorated, and looks better than photos. Living room and dining area are very clean and spacious and have plenty of cooking appliances. The garden is completely magical, with lounge chairs, grill, fire pit, lots of pottery and flowers, small pond, and chickens. Kevin and Susan were great hosts and gave us advice on places to visit. The lack of wifi and cell service was a nice touch to disconnect from the world and relax. We are still talking fondly about our trip two weeks later. Would love to visit again!

Very nice stay at Reverie Gardens
We lucked into Reverie Gardens for a quick vacation on the Olympic Peninsula. We were very pleasantly surprised by this charming spot. It's a very comfortable cabin surrounded by beautiful gardens. Kevin and Susan were wonderful hosts - there if you need them with great insights into the Peninsula. Great base for exploring - and wonderful spot to return to and relax each day. We didn't end up using it, but it has a grill available. It also has a fire pit and wood provided - and we spent our last night relaxing around the fire. And - Bob the very friendly cat will stop by occasionally to say hello. Highly recommended!
