"For a stay that cost around $400 per night, I expected a much better experience. The biggest issue was the room itself. It had a noticeable damp, moldy smell that was unpleasant throughout the stay. The property is clearly very old, and signs of age are visible everywhere. I was fortunate to be assigned a first-floor room because I didn't see an elevator, so guests staying upstairs may have to carry their luggage up the stairs. The room also lacked air conditioning. "The room was spacious and clean. Blackout curtains were a plus. Hot breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly, though a bit chatty. The only complaint I have is the noise level as our room was right next to the only (noisy, old and worn down) elevator in the building."
