"Staff was lovely. So useful to have a fridge and microwave to use so we were able to keep costs down The room was right next to the main road and there was a constant flow of traffic and a police chase one of the nights. People in the other rooms were really noisy until 1 am and started again at 8"

"Room was a little tired could do with some updating especially the bathroom. Smelt a little damp in the room and bathroom. Cleanliness of the room wasn’t great. Enjoyed our stay, great location and pub, staff and food were excellent."

"Charming hotel close to the train station. The manager was kind enough to carry my luggage up and down the stairs. I arrived exhausted and fighting a froggy voice. The food was amazing and I slept well."

"Just stayed here last week very easy to find plenty parking. Check in straight forward the young man very friendly. Some minor faults with rooms. We had 2 rooms . Both kettles in rooms had bad limescale so never used them .the teabags looked like they had just been thrown in a pile on the dresser Bathroom towel instead of being white had a massive blue stain on .bed sheet was dirty. .you could hear the traffic outside but to be expected as on main road. I think for value for money...

"When I arrived the property was closed and had been for over a year despite my money being taken and messages being sent to me about my stay up to the day before. I had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. The property should be removed from the Expedia site. Poor management and very inconvenient."
