"Fantastic stay. Great location. Staff wonderful. Great breakfast Highly recommend"

"Lumley Castle Hotel is a truly beautiful property, with its historic character wonderfully preserved. The castle’s charm and atmosphere make the stay a unique experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the wonderful breakfast was definitely one of the highlights of our visit."

"Better than expected. Don’t write off these hotels. Way nicer than many upmarket properties out there."

"The Hotel location is fanstantis as it is close to restaurants. The Hotel reception need upgrading, completely We found it selfish of the Hotel to outsource its parking to a 3rd party - as we choose FREE parking in the Expedia filter. Guests like paying for all amenties direct, rather than to a 3rd party. Overall, it was okay, as it was a 1 night stay."

"First and foremost the property was clean, functional and offered value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, although our experience of room service was let down by dirty cups being left. We found the hotel lacked character, everything about it was functional and not interesting. This extended to the breakfast, our experience of which was behind not eating supper there. "Room was good size and clean Use of the pool was good"

"Good size bedroom, excellent breakfast, great staff"

"A very quirky clean boutique hotel with fantastic sea view. I would highly recommend it"

Até a televisão parece ter sido uma das primeiras tvs LCDs lançadas (sim LCD e nao led). Para um hotel da rede Mercure o quarto deixa muito a desejar. Nada a reclamar da piscina, spa e outros. Restaurante muito bom também! "

"Much improvement on the previous night in Scarborough"

"The staff were very welcoming. The room was very tired."

"Fantastic place to stay. We’ll stay again. Top location. Welcoming. Lovely decor great food. Great drink abc cocktail selection. Fantastic friendly staff both daytime and breakfast. Lovely big room. Comfortable. Great food. Perfect."

"Friendly welcome. Efficient check-in at the bar. Spotlessly clean bedding and towels. Comfy bed. Bathroom clean but in need of refurb (eg tile grout/ sealant)."

"I was disappointed with my experience, particularly given the high standards I associate with Hilton. The level of customer service fell well below expectations. Unfortunately, the receptionist's attitude was neither welcoming nor professional. First impressions are important, and I felt the interaction lacked the courtesy and hospitality one would expect from a hotel of this reputation. In addition, no complimentary water was offered upon check-in, which is a small gesture but one that many...
