Gaze at coastal meadows and the wide Pacific Ocean from this two-bedroom Sea Ranch home, where you'll have a private deck that overlooks the water, a dog-friendly interior, and easy access to community swimming pools, saunas, and tennis courts.

Cozy, comfortable, and scenic in every season, the living space offers natural wood walls, free WiFi throughout, and a pellet stove to warm your toes on foggy mornings. Curl up on the window seat with a book or a board game, keep your eyes peeled on the horizon for whale spouts, and snuggle with your loved ones as you enjoy the flatscreen cable TV, DVD player, VCR, and VHS library. Begin each morning with homemade waffles and freshly ground coffee in the full kitchen, leaving the dishwasher to clean up as you take your dogs for a stroll (please note that a two-dog limit applies). Spend the rest of the day beachcombing, reading the newspaper on the ocean-facing deck, and lighting the gas grill for an alfresco family meal.

This two-level home sits on the west side of California Highway 1, a quarter-mile south of the heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, and saunas at the Ohlson Recreation Center. Take morning walks down to Stengel Beach (less than a mile north) and Pebble Beach (one mile south), tee off among the cypress at the Sea Ranch Golf Links five miles north, and explore the markets, restaurants, and galleries in downtown Gualala six miles north. ***Due to high demand and limited availability of facilities as managed by TSRA, Vacasa cannot guarantee that all guests will have access to the pools/tennis courts. Please note that no refund(s) will be provided in relation to the TSRA facilities.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Booked this place for the Labor Day weekend back in the Spring. After the contract was executed we learned about a house being constructed across the street. Other parties mentioned about noise during the day — we were not impacted much by that (though the porta-potty was an eyesore. The real challenge of the rental was the sleeping arrangements — one of the bedrooms has a Queen sized bed and private bath. The other bedroom is a nightmare! In a 10’x8’ space, there are two TRIPLE DECKER bunk beds, each about 2 feet wide and about 2 feet between them. The top bunks are damaged — on one side there is a broken bedrail that left a 4-inch wooden spike — really unsafe! Making matters worse, the levels are so close together it’s impossible to sit up (or turn over) without hitting the bottom of the bunk above. Can’t imagine kids navigating the room, and for adults it’s impossible. There is only one working light in the room that works by plugging or unplugging a broken lightcord. I would have expected a safety check before renting this place. It definitely needs one. I will be seeking a refund.

Great House
Lots of positives about the house. Beautiful house. Open concept and bright. Great location. Ocean views, safe and quiet community with access to bluff trail and Pebble Beach We enjoyed biking and eventhough we didn't get a chance to use the pool, it looked very inviting. The slight negatives were that looking straight out the living room/ kitchen across the street was construction, red tape and portapotty, although it did not block the ocean view yet. The house's two bathrooms show its age. Although everything was functioning. We missed not having laundry but did fine without it. All-in-all cute house.

Took my 4 kids here for a few days over Father’s Day weekend. The place was well appointed with all the comforts one may need, including lots of beautiful cookware. Not the easiest to get the welcome package, especially after a several hour drive with a gaggle of kids, but the location for that is close to civilization. Overall, rad spot, adorable little cottage, and it made for amazing memories.

Water Heater Issue
The stay was wonderful but upon check in we arrived to several work trucks and workers on site at the house (water heater, landscape). The water heater had gone out- the situation was handled well but did cause disruption to our stay for 2 days. We had discussed a discount, but I never received anything back after that. The right thing to do is offer a discount of one night's stay. Again, this situation was handled well but we did have plumbers in the house and with access to the house for 2 days. This was uncomfortable.

Great for young kids and pets
I'm a single mama with two small children and one big dog. The Clemmons Cottage gave us a feel for old world Sea Ranch and all of it's fabulous 70s-ness without having to worry about some of the preciousness that comes with some of the higher-priced, higher-end properties. It had everything we needed to be cozy at a price I could afford. The heater in the kid's bedroom wasn't working, but the pellet stove did its job of keeping us all toasty in the rain and chill. I hope the new home going up across the street doesn't mar (pun intended) the stellar view. Many thanks!

Good location for now
To bad they’re going to lose their view. Nice view of the ocean for now and the best thing about the house. Needs some updates and an in-depth cleaning. Has all the amenities. Very small and our big dog made it smaller.
