A Seagrove Retreat – Steps to the Sand, Family-Friendly Comfort, and the Heart of 30A

Just a stone’s throw from the shoreline, this cozy and beautifully appointed Seagrove hideaway offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and coastal charm. Ideal for families or small groups, this home comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 5 kids, with a thoughtful three-story layout that gives everyone their own space to relax and recharge. Both pools will be closed during renovations the S Ryan pool is scheduled to open on March 2nd, the Chelsea pool on April 2nd.

On the first floor, you'll find comfortable bedrooms and a fun bunk area just for kids. Head upstairs to the second floor, where the main gathering space awaits—an open, sun-filled area featuring the kitchen, dining, and living room—perfect for meals, games, and winding down together after a day at the beach. The third floor is home to the private primary suite as well as a cozy kid’s nook, making it ideal for parents traveling with a younger child.

Located just 500 feet from the beach, you’ll be on the soft white sand of 30A in minutes. While the home doesn’t offer ocean views, the unbeatable proximity means beach days come easy and often.

Right next door is a neighborhood pool—unheated, but perfect for those warm summer afternoons. For cooler days, a heated community pool is just a short walk away, giving you the best of both worlds.

The location seals the deal: you’re within walking distance to coffee shops, local restaurants, and charming boutiques, and nestled right between Seaside and Alys Beach, two of the most iconic destinations along 30A.

This home includes a credit based on the duration of your stay for additional amenities offered by VayKGear such as bikes, paddleboards, games and chairs. You will receive a notification after you confirm your reservation with additional details.

Great family beach vacay!

Location, location, location! This house is a short walk to the beach! The pool is right across the street and can be viewed from the second and third story balcony. Although we had a few issues upon check-in (broken door knob, a fan that did not work, and a broken remote control) management was quick to respond and resolve these issues. The outdoor shower was very convenient for rinsing off beach gear & sandy toes. Overall, this is a great place to stay with a large family & kids!

Starting to show its age

This is our 6th time renting this home in the 12 years we’ve been visiting the area. The house is no longer the same beach house it once was. 1. The art program is almost distracting and not fitting. Probably very personal to the owners, but is very aggressive for a fun summer getaway. It doesn’t make sense and there’s something everywhere you look. 2. Handles are broken on outside doors, and the master shower. 3. Internet never worked the entire trip. Even after they fixed it. Could not work from The home, which was a huge requirement for us. 4. Smoke detectors kept going off randomly. It got so bad we couldn’t even be inside. It took three hours for a maintenance person to check in. 5. The furniture is excessive and makes it almost impossible to navigate the rooms on the bottom and main floor (and the leather chairs are gross at best) 6. The pillows are so old they smell so bad we had to remove them and put them in a closet. 7. The pans are 7+ years old. Could not even make eggs in them. Numerous plates and cups are chipped to a point of being dangerous to use. 8. Fans inside and out don’t work. 9. Outside vents are being covered with rubber gloves. 10. Blinds are broken all over the house. Doors don’t shut all the way — causing so much condensation that seeing the “view” is not as advertised anymore. Looking at the photos online, which is the original home we stayed in years ago, looks nothing like it does now, unfortunately.

Beach access was great!

This was a great location and the house was nice. They offer a credit for renting chairs, bikes, etc., but I would HIGHLY recommend ordering chair service. It’s the only way you can be on the beach close to the access point. The neighborhood was in a great location and quiet. The master on the 3rd floor was great for our family as we have adult children. However, the fifth bedroom area is attached to the master with no door and shared the master bath. If you are counting on that extra bedroom, this could be an issue.

Great House and Location

This really is a great house. The living room and kitchen is amazing. We had 3 families with teenage boys. I wish the bunk rooms had been in their own room and not out in the open but it worked for us because the boys went to sleep last. The upstairs is a little confusing because the master bedroom doesn’t have a door and the other bedroom upstairs has to share the master bathroom with the primary guests. Other than that it was perfect. It was very upgraded. The outdoor area was fantastic. The walk to the beach was very short. I wish there were more key FOBs for the beach for as big of a house it was. Overall great experience but would have one less family because of the upstairs situation. But it did actually have 4 full bedrooms with 2 bunk beds so it was plenty of room.

Great Location, Not so great house

The location was exactly what we wanted with easy and close beach access. The house on the other hand had the following issues: the shower faucet handle fell off, the door lever on the exterior French door fell off, the dryer door fell off and hit my wife's foot and left a nasty bruise. The bedroom layout was a bit strange as well. Unless the master wants to share a privacy door , closet and bathroom with 2 more people you may want to discount the number of people that can stay comfortable if all family to 8 adults or children & if you are with friends I would say 5 was the most to stay comfortably.

Great house & location, so-so personal touches

This was a mostly good place for our group of 10 moms and graduated senior girls. PROs: The layout was well done and we had plenty of space and bathrooms to get ready. Lots of room for meals. We loved how close it was to the beach without actually being on the beach. We had one issue with a toilet running and not flushing and even though we were told "might be tomorrow or the next day" to get it fixed, they had someone there that day to fix it. We also appreciated the credit at the beach gear company so we could decide if we wanted chair & umbrellas or bikes or toys. CONS: This is run by Vacasa so pretty much zero personal touches. When I asked a local question about beach warnings, the answer was basically, "I have no idea, ask someone else local". The kitchen has NOTHING in the way of extras - no salt/pepper/sugar/oil, no foil or bags, very few rolls of TP or paper towels. You get pans and dishes and cups and there were plenty of those. But don't expect to find any personal touches or extra amenities. (one exception was that the bathrooms had small travel size soap, conditioner, etc). Just know this going in. The only other con is about the third floor bedroom/bath. They really need blackout curtains and someway of making the shower more private. We were wide awake before 6 every day unless you wore a sleep mask. And had to schedule showers so you didn't see your naked neighbor. =) All in all, this fit our needs and was worth the price.

Fall Break 2022

Really enjoyed staying at the White House. The layout was great for my family and our guests. Short walk to the beach and all the amenities need at the house. Will definitely be renting again in the future.

Beautiful and spacious home, 2minute walk to the beach!

*Easy process to check in/out * Digital access to the home, beach and pool. *Beds were comfortable, location was awesome, very nicely decorated. * We enjoyed using the skim boards and boogie boards. *Wish we could have stayed longer and taken advantage of using the propane grill next to the porch. * All of our adult children (2 married couples and 1 single all choose to sleep on the first floor, so my husband I felt like we had a penthouse on the third floor to ourselves! The master bath is HUGE! * Just wish there was a pocket door at the entrance to the master (Between the master bedroom and the wet bar) for privacy if we’d had anyone sleeping in the other bedroom on the third floor. *Our kids lamented the rocking chairs weren’t on the 2nd floor porch (where you have a great view)- but they were in the first floor with a secluded place. Lunch first day at “Melted” in Seagrove. Dinner first night at Old Florida Fish House(yum) and second night at Goatfeathers(yum). *We loved the short 2 min walk to the beach from the White House! *We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place and location

We enjoy staying there, the first floor a d the second were awesome, the third floor layout was a bit unusual, would have been better to have doors on the bathroom area for a little privacy. Other than that, we really enjoyed the place and location.

Beautiful house, great location

Walk to the beach was super easy. There is a beach service company right there at the entrance for umbrellas and chairs. The house was clean and suited our needs well. As noted by another review, the third level master has zero privacy. There is another room connected to the master and the master bed/bath does not have its own door.

Very nice property

Beautiful property. Very clean and comfortable. We visited with 3 families (6x adults, 4x teens, and 2x young children) and were very comfortable throughout our stay. Great beach access and pool. A bit of a haul to Seaside and Watercolor town centers, where all of the shops and restaurants are. But no complaints (and some of us are quite picky). Rental group was honest, efficient, and communicated well. Very happy overall.

Wonderful beach house, exactly as advertised!

Our two families just finished spending a week in The White House. It was a great beach house, especially with 4 little kids. The walk to the beach was very short and easily accessible. The house was exactly as advertised and very clean upon our arrival. The layout was perfect for two families. We spent most of our time on the 2nd floor and 2nd floor balcony. We have been to 30a many times and The White House is definitely one of our favorites.

Several bedrooms, great for big groups.

There are several bedrooms to accommodate bigger groups. The picture on the listing is a bit misleading, the house appears to be more “secluded” than it really is. Overall it’s a beautiful house, getting to the pool and beach was super easy.

Summer Fun

Two families of five enjoyed the house. The property was well maintained, close to beach and the pool. There are other homes close by but it was not noisy. Would rent again.
