We were up visiting our son at MMA and found this house. It was very clean and made spending the weekend with our son feel like home instead of a hotel. Would highly recommend this house and will definitely try to stay there again.

Perfect for our family
This house worked well for our short trip to see schools in Boston, with 3 older kids. There is plenty of space and the rooms were comfortable. Everything is well organized and the host was available and helpful. There is a nice view of the water from the top floor bedroom, which is bright in the morning with a lovely stained glass window. There is a large yard with a grill. It's a pleasant, quiet neighborhood. The house is very close to the grocery store, a home made ice cream shop, and the Cape Cod Canal Visitors Center. There is also a glass blowing museum nearby, which unfortunately we did not have time to see. Perfect for our long weekend.

Cape getaway
My wife and I took a few days off to enjoy the fall weather on the Cape. The house was perfect for 2 of us. Plenty of room, near everything, close to shopping and places to eat.

Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood near the canal
We had a great stay at this property recently. The property location is excellent. We found the property very clean, adequately furnished and with a well stocked kitchen. Thanks to the owner for hosting us…definitely recommend

Very nice place, location, and host
Regarding the property: indoors was very comfortable, clean, well-furnished, and spacious (which was fortunate because the weather was only partially cooperative); outdoors was equally pleasant with two nice decks (one with slight views of the bay). We appreciated the location in an appealing area which has friendly neighbors and close/easy access to beaches (<1/4 mile & <1/2 mile) as well as other natural areas, several restaurants, fish markets, supermarket, bike trail, main street, and other amenities all within 1 or 1-1/2 miles.

Nice place but needs 2 small improvements
The listing clearly states that the unit has no air conditioning. Therefore we read the reviews and one reviews said it was really not an issue. However, when we were there it was 86° during the day, and the place never cooled off, even with every single window and door open and all 8 fans on full power, it was still over 80° inside at night. The outside temperature was quite comfortable. The other issue is there are only sheer curtains, so if you stay at this house plan on getting up with the sun each morning and enjoying the neighbors flood lights each night Most other houses in the neighborhood had window AC units or full AC units. One small addition of a window AC unit would’ve changed our vacation from a lack of sleep to wonderful.

Great Cape experience
Linda was a great host property was very nice clean and well stocked. Cool breezes in Aug were perfect. Our family of 4 were comfortable and pleased. Town beach was not as enjoyable so crossed the island to old silver. Boardwalk was also not as hoped for but being rebuilt. Lovely town for sure.

Family vacation at the Cape
Linda was a great host. The property was as advertised and she provided some great tips for local events, food and sights to see. We didn't get to see everything and we'll stay again when we come back.

Picture perfect
It was more than picture perfect, the views, the smell, the sound everything was perfect. It was very comfortable and close to everything. I wish we had more time there. I plan going back even if it is just me for a few days it’s so relaxing.

Family Cape Trip
We had a family wedding down the Cape and this property was the perfect spot for us to stay! Clean, close to the beach, easy check in process and Linda was so responsive. Would stay again for future cape trips.

Excellent home with everything you need
This property was in a quiet neighborhood, with friendly neighbors (they waved!) and a regular flow of dog walkers and strolling families. It was a short walk to a beach that was very quiet and easy to access. Of course, there are many places to visit and excellent eateries abound. The home itself was comfortable, with a nice living room and TV, plenty of couches and chairs and high-quality beds. There were a lot of towels and blankets, and things like laundry detergent and dishwashing tabs were provided. Our only wish is that the bedrooms offered some kind of room-darkening curtain so the morning light wasn't so strong. Very good experience with this rental, top to bottom.

Pretty Much Perfect!
Linda's house was just what we were looking for. My children grew up in Sandwich, but we hadn't been there together for close to 20 years when we planned this trip. This was an opportunity to share some time revisiting significant spots and seeing some old friends. The location, space and amenities were all we could have hoped for. The home itself is beautiful, and the surroundings are exactly what you go to the Cape to immerse yourself in. We will happily stay there again the next time we visit Sandwich, just hope it will be available!

Just what we needed!
6 college friends turning 50 decide to have a guy weekend. This place was perfect. Linda was very accommodating and responsive to any questions we had. We had a great time and the house was clean and had everything we needed. We walked to the beach and took it all in. Almost forgot we were getting older for a few minutes. Great location.

Interesting house
We stayed for almost a week at this lovely house. The upstairs bedroom was huge and the kitchen was really well stocked. There’s a washer dryer. The deck and yard are lovely and the hosts and neighbors are nice. Sandwich is a nice town. There was a tiny smell of mildew in the house but it wasn’t really a problem. The only complaint I had was that the sheets were folded on the bed, rather than the bed being made up, with the idea that guests would know the sheets were clean.

Great Location
It was a great house with lots of space. I would not recommend for families with younger children since the master bedroom is upstairs and a long way from the other rooms on the bottom floor. The house had everything you needed. The upper deck was great and we were in walking distance to the canal trail, restaurants, boardwalk and beach.

Wonderful cape stay!
You will not regret staying at this hidden gem in Sandwich! The property is beautiful and has many different spaces for you to enjoy - from the open floor plan to the stocked kitchen to upper porch (great brunch spot!) to the backyard (nice grill, open lawn for a little morning yoga). It is about a 10 minute walk from both the beach and restaurants. Linda is a gracious and responsive host. Couldn't recommend it more!

Excellent Beach Stay
We had a marvelous time! The house is absolutely beautiful and had great views of the ocean. It was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The beach was a 5 minute walk down a quiet street. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Linda's communication and flexibility were extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for any family looking for a beautiful place within walking distance of the beach.

Perfect Vacation
The house was perfect and it had everything we needed. the house has several large common areas that we enjoyed, a fully stocked kitchen, a large deck upstairs and a large deck in the backyard. The yard is beautifully landscaped and private with a lot of space to enjoy. The host was incredibly accommodating and everything was seamless. The neighborhood is adorable, safe for children, and friendly with a easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. As an fyi, the water is rocky at the beach and not kid friendly for swimming. We found this rental last minute and we would absolutely go back in the future.

Loved this house!
This house was a nice spacious perfect size for me and my 5 other friends. We had such a great time and would definitely come back! It was in a great location, close walk to the beach, and just a 4 minute drive downtown with yummy restaurants/delis/cafes and shopping/boutique centers. Linda was a great host and she made it super easy for me to get settled in. She is very quick and reponsive with communication. Thank you!

Cozy Beach House
Rustic, cozy, old beach house. Perfect for a Cape weekend getaway. House has everything you need, just not the most modern fixtures. Could have done without the backyard full of rotten apples.

Great stay on the Cape
The best part of the rental is the location. It's in a quiet neighborhood near the beach, canal, and restaurants. Unfortunately, It was very hot during our stay, so sitting/watching TV in the living room without AC - only fans (AC only in bedrooms) was uncomfortable. Also, the types of curtains/blinds in the bedrooms did little for the early bright sunlight in the morning. We were woken very early each morning. We did not attempt the grill, as it looked fragile. The legs were taped up. We opted for takeout nearby. However, overall, we had a good time.

Great first Cape Cod experience!
Our family greatly enjoyed our time at this property. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and the house is close to the beach but also a close drive to town, restaurants, etc. Linda was great to work with, flexible and quick responses.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood
We loved staying in the property! The house is spacious and comfortable, tastefully furnished and well equipped. The master bedroom upstairs offers a great seaview and the king bed is huge! Also we liked the generous locker room upstairs. A pleasant walk to the beach through quiet neighborhood, also the Broadwalk across the marshes is nearby and we loved it. It was a pity that we could not use the upper deck, this information was lacking in the description. Also the bathtube downstairs was not very comfortable and for some reason the water was not warm enough there. But these were only minor problems that could not spoil our overall great satisfaction with the rental!

Sandwich serenity
Very nice and spacious property that is close to the beach/boardwalk and so many other sites on the Cape. About an hour drive to Boston and a little more to Provincetown depending upon traffic. Quiet neighborhood. Overall place that is easy to relax in.

Fishing and relaxing on the Cape
Linda was a pleasure to rent from and very responsive. The property was as expected. The views from the house are beautiful. It is centrally located within a half mile to a mile from several restaurants and the local stop and shop. We only had one vehicle and with my husband fishing most of the time I was without a vehicle but I was still able to walk to walk down to the beach and the restaurants. I highly recommend this location and Linda. Thanks for everything.

Excellent rental
The property is very well-equipped. It literally has anything and everything you could imagine I would highly recommend this to anyone. The only oddity was the amount of television channels available to view. I suggest next renter bring a Roku or fire stick. Other than that it was perfect

Great long weekend
This was a very comfortable, well-equipped house in a fantastic quiet neighborhood. We were able to bike to the beach in minutes! Everything we needed was provided and the grocery store was conveniently located as well. Linda was very responsive with, our reservation and with questions during our stay. We are already looking at our summer schedule for next year to return!

Pleasant vacation home
Very much enjoyed my stay. Easy walk to beach. Very quiet neighborhood. Good restaurants within walking distance. Loved the glass museum.. House served our needs and was well supplied. Hot tub was a very very nice addition. Deck outside was big enough to chase the shade. Wish we could have used the second deck. Great water pressure for showers. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. Also we had great weather.

Great Family Vacation
This property is close to everything. The town beach is down the street, we rode to the canal on bikes and restaurants an shopping close by. House was fully stocked with everything you need. The only disappointed was we were not able to use the second top deck. Such a quiet neighborhood!

Hi! Right after your stay I had the second top deck redone and it is open. Sorry it was not available to you but the railings were unsafe so I closed the deck for safety until they were replaced and safe to use.

Great Location and Very Spacious Home
Upon arrival found very clean and spacious home. Lots of room for a vacation home. Most ammenities are up to date. High points are the jacuzzi, comfortable couches and flat screen tvs. Back yard is very spacious and 5 min drive to nice beach. Only suggestions would be to update the laundry appliances with more room for clothin had to do multiple loads for household towels and sheets. Also perhaps put some blinds for morning daylight..Lots of windows so the sun light was strong early morning..Great time for a single or two family stay.. Overall, great place for vacation.
