Modern Hilltop Retreat: Spacious, Beautiful Views, Indoor + Outdoor Entertaining

Welcome to our modern home in the Del Cerro neighborhood, conveniently located ~15 minutes from the city's main attractions. This 5 bed/2.5 bath home is newly built and offers plenty of space for you to rest and relax during your stay in our beautiful city. We can comfortably sleep 10 adults and small children (1 crib + pack n play). With great views of the sunrise and sunset from the front and back of the property, you can soak in all of the beauty San Diego has to offer from here!

Our home features an open floor plan on the ground floor with cool, concrete flooring to add that modern touch. The large kitchen features quartz countertops and high-end appliances with everything a chef would need. There are three separate dining areas to accommodate your group: a 12-seat dining table, a kitchen island with 5 barstools, and a breakfast nook that seats 6.

The living room features plenty of seating around the 80” tv for your entertainment pleasure. There are also board games available for adults and children to have a fun game night.

The kitchen opens up onto the covered back patio where there is plenty of comfortable seating to relax in. A newly renovated back yard now includes a BBQ area, turf, a deck with 8ft stock tank plunge pool/hot tub, and fire pit with seating. Plenty of space to relax, play games, or just enjoy the view!

Four bedrooms are located upstairs along with a laundry room and two full bathrooms. One bedroom currently contains a crib along with two twin beds. The fifth bedroom is located downstairs and is a twin bed with a twin trundle.

For any guests traveling with small children, we have plenty of baby gear, toys, and books available for you to use during your stay (e.g. baby bath, stroller, backpack carrier for hikes, etc) so you can travel a bit lighter! Please ask ahead of time and if we have it, we’ll make sure to leave it for you.

Please note that we take our guest safety very seriously and thoroughly clean and disinfect surfaces prior to each guest stay. Certain areas of the home, including the garage, are locked and not available for guest access.

Perfect setting and wonderful hosts!

We booked here for a small science writing retreat, and the setting was perfect! Very convenient, but it felt tranquil and remote due to the lovely views and nearby open space. Paul and Jasmine were incredibly communicative, friendly and accommodating. Hope to be back!

Highly recommend!

The house has perfect location in a quiet neighborhood with front seat to viewing spectacular sunsets. Hosts are 5* and more; excellent communication, comfortable house with everything you might need. I would gladly return.

Couples trip done right!

What a great getaway for Friends!! Beautiful home and location. Communication with owner was easy. We opted to eat in a couple of nights because it was just so relaxing to be there! Would definitely stay again!!

Simply Amazing

Paul and Jasmine really know how to rent on VRBO! From booking, to check in, to the stay and checking out, everything was done perfectly. We had excellent communication and was asked ahead of time anything that we may need for children we were traveling with. The house is amazing, with gorgeous views of San Diego and every thing you could ask for. The house was perfect for my family of seven. I would highly recommend this property for anyone!

Perfect San Diego hilltop getaway!

Paul and Jasmine are most hospitable and welcoming! From the moment we arrived (a customized welcome basket) to the morning we left! Their home is in a perfect location - 20 minutes from virtually any family excursion. After an active day it was so nice to come back to a home with impeccable views and the amenities of a 5 star hotel and kid friendly too! This house is truly a home. It will not disappoint. Wonderful home, great location

Absolutely loved this home! Spacious, well appointed, comfortable and in a great neighborhood (loved all the open space surrounding the house). Paul and Jasmine were great hosts and had a beautiful welcome basket with thoughtful items on arrival. Would highly recommend!

Excellent stay!

I highly recommend this property. We were in San Diego for a family wedding. The rental was perfect for a family. It was large and open - both indoors and out. Well decorated and fully furnished and the kitchen had everything you could want or need. Our hosts graciously left us some food supplies to get us started on our stay (and even bubbles for our two littles!) There were lots of things for the kids to do there. And we all loved the lovely hilltop view of the city lights and the stock pool hot tub. Thank you so much, Paul and Jasmine!

Gorgeous San Diego Home

The house is beautiful and Paul and Jasmine were very welcoming and hospitable. The house was supplied with everything we needed for our stay, and the hosts were very accessible. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and close to all of San Diego's attractions. Perfect for a family vacation.

Beautiful Home

Our family had a flood in our home located in the same neighborhood so we were looking for a home close by that would allow us to relax and maintain some sense of normalcy during the time our home was being treated. Jasmine and Paul were very gracious and helpful and were very responsive to our questions. The home was super clean, open and quiet. The view was spectacular and we loved every minute of our stay. I would highly recommend!

Our family/friends reunion

We absolutely loved the place. It was easy to get to. Its big spacious and in a really wonderful neighborhood. Paul was very helpful and communicative. And we appreciate the goody basket that was left for us. Thank you. Will definately stay there again when we go back to SD.
