Stray cats everywhere. The property is listed as pet friendly however we did not expect to have pet hair thru the house even after being cleaned. The house was not ready at 3 as we had to wait to final cleaning walk thru and still had animal hair on beds, carpet, even countertops. We know that the house was listed as pet friendly but we have a child that is very allergic to cats and stray cats in the back yard are not ideal. This should have been mentioned it the listing as we would not have booked here and would not have had an issue. The host was difficult to work with and would not refund us when we were not happy with the condition of the home. We were finally refunded a portion of our stay which didn’t even cover the cost of one night. VBRO staff tried to reason with the host and they could not reason with the host either. The neighborhood does not feel safe. The backyard is gated off and locked. Our total time spent here are less than two hours so that we could make other arrangements for accommodations. I do not recommend this property. Also, the pool was not set up which in description states that it is starting in April 1 but just to make other renters aware it will not be available during spring break.
