Welcome to Mountain View Manor, a historic neo-classic home nestled in the heart of Salida, Colorado. This stunning property offers a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, making it an ideal retreat for families or groups seeking adventure and relaxation.

With four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, Mountain View Manor comfortably accommodates up to eight guests. The interior boasts a warm and inviting ambiance, featuring a chef's dream kitchen equipped with a six-burner Wolf range, two ovens, and all the essentials for culinary enthusiasts. The expansive living area is perfect for gathering, while the outdoor gazebo and beautifully landscaped yard provide an enchanting space for al fresco dining or simply soaking in the serene surroundings.

Guests can unwind in the private hot tub after a day of exploring the nearby attractions, including hiking, skiing, and fishing. The property is just a quick drive or bike ride to local shops, restaurants, and the downtown entertainment district.

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book ā€œCheck-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

Spring break ski trip with teens

With 4 teenagers and 3 adults, this house was outstanding. The teenagers enjoyed the pool table and outside living, while the adults liked the excellent kitchen since we cooked at the house nearly every day. We loved the history of the house and it's proximity to downtown Salida, Princeton hot springs and Monarch ski area. The bedrooms were very comfortable, although the twin beds did not fit our oldest (tall) teenager - probably best for young kids. We would stay here again if our travels bring us back to Salida.

Monarch Ski Trip

Stayed here for a Monarch Ski trip. House was amazing, bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Our group loved the pool table and hot tub. Location was close to everything. Great stay!

Great Stay

We loved the house! We also appreciate that there was an essential oil diffuser and we could choose to use scent in the house or not. Sometimes when we arrive at rentals the homes are heavily fragranced with that artificial smell and for those of us with sensitivities, this is a turn off. The kitchen is well equipped with nice pots/pans, etc. Recommend.

Amazing home!!

The 5 of us sisters and sister-in-laws were so amazed and pleased with the accommodations, cleanliness, amenities, and beauty of the home. It was the perfect place for us to connect and yet have some of our own space. If we come back to Salida, we will definitely stay here again. The hosts were VERY quick to answer our questions. Everything we needed was here. I miss it already!!

Visited Salida for granddaughterā€™s wedding celebration

There were 4 adults at this amazing property. It could not have been better. It was more than we had hoped for. Beth made it clear, no events. We had a small family bbq one night & otherwise it was the 4 of us & we loved the 2 fawns we saw. The kitchen is to die for. The host was wonderful to work with. This property is a gem circa early 1900s but as modern as it comes. Stunning. I would rent again in a heartbeat. Kathy

Salida Retreat

Gathered with old friends to attend a wedding in Salida and we really enjoyed the delightfully surprising old manor. It's an eclectic mix of old and new, and extraordinarily comfortable and great for hanging out, cooking and enjoying the gorgeous location. Walking distance to downtown Salida was perfectly awesome, so we could all do our own thing and reconvene back at home base. Back yard is super spacious. Kitchen and bathrooms are beautifully updated and gorgeous. It was a unique and perfect host to our too-short long weekend visit. The hospitality of the hosts added to the comfort and ease from check in to departure. Enjoy!

Perfect Accommodations for Family Visit

The Old Manor Charm was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 2 dogs. The house was spotless and it had a fantastic kitchen. The weather was perfect so we grilled outside while the dogs played in the fenced in backyard. We would definitely love to stay there again.

Fun Mansion

We loved the mix of modern and rustic. Enjoyed Pool table and jacuzzi. We were a little surprised by the surrounding houses, but we walked into town (15 min) several times a day. We felt so at home at this place and everything was great.

Great Stay

This is a great home to stay during a weeklong visit to Salina. The home was extremely clean. And it is truly the most stocked VRBO that weā€™ve ever stayed in. I will definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Beautiful home and location

Beth was a wonderful host - very communicative and we even had a welcome note in the dining room. The yard was perfect since it warmer than anticipated and we played yard games before heading out to Monarch to ski for a day... only about 25 mins away. The home was spectacular - got to eat as a group at the huge dining room table followed up by a pool tournament. The decor in the house was amazing!

We had a wonderful time at the River Paws property! This is the best stocked kitchen that Iā€™ve ever seen. Every tool that we needed was there. The house is super charming and very close to town and the walking path along the river. I really appreciated the fence yard for our dogs. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Place

We stayed for 3 nights to get away from Denver and enjoy the mountains - everything was immaculate in the home and the property is even nicer than the pictures - kids loved the hot tub and we made use of the amazing kitchen on a rainy day. Kids were sad we didnā€™t get to stay a 4th night and so were we! Salida is wonderful and this is a perfect place to enjoy it from. Thanks Beth!

You wonā€™t be disappointed!

From the moment we arrived we were so glad we booked this home. It was spotless and smelled wonderful. Every detail has been thought of from the immaculate kitchen to the modern bathrooms. We had excellent sleep in the comfy beds. The house was very entertaining with movies, games, and a beautiful pool table. We had such an enjoyable stay! The owner Beth was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.
