"My husband, two daughters, and dog stayed here for three nights. It was a rainy weekend, but that gave us the excuse to enjoy the house more. We played games, watched movies, read books, and slept and ate well. The house is very comfortable, with lots of room to spread out, and very quiet. Highly recommend for anyone looking for some R & R!"

"The whole farm is a relaxing beautiful property with mountain views. The General Store, farm animals, and vacation house are all wonderful. Very pet friendly, Mindy and Laineyloved the fenced in front yard and porch. Debbie and Craig are wonderful host. I look forward to Mid-September for the next visit. "

"Beautiful house and view of the lake! House was clean, well stocked, and the owners are very responsive and friendly. The A/C did have trouble keeping up on a few hot days on the top floor, even with the drapes shut, to the point we asked if someone could look at the HVAC unit while we were there. The owners did send a technician out, and everything seemed to be working correctly. The owners did say they plan to make some additional modifications soon to address the sun light heating up...

"Well appointed home in a great location. There is a beautiful deck/dock at the bottom of the hill, however the hill is steep so it is a hike to get to. Alternatively, there is a neighborhood pool and boat dock, which is a four minute drive from the property. We used this dock to launch our boat and jet skis and it worked great. "

"My husband and I just spent a week at the “cozy cabin” on Lake James and had an amazing time! The cabin is adorable, exactly as described with so many amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit, private beach, and boat/dock area. The weather was a bit sketchy, but that allowed us to explore local breweries and towns near by. Communication with the host was outstanding. We cannot say enough good things about this perfect little piece of lakeside paradise. We will be back! "
