"Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!"

"Such a nice place, even better than the pics. Love the cabin theme decor, beautifully decorated. Lots of room inside and out for a family to spread out. Thanks for keeping the kitchen well-stocked and leaving condiments/spices and kitchen supplies; we enjoyed cooking and preparing multiple meals. We were lucky to have perfect weather and spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the mountain views and fire pit. We weren't expecting such nice weather; I wish we had brought cornhole/outdoor games....

"Our host was one of the nicest people I could ever make reservations with. The condo is completely beautiful with a beautiful veiw especially in the winter. Everything that you would need for your stay is there. You dont need take anything extra. Kitchen items, towels, whatever you can name they had it. Also his response time to anything i needed was superb. If we ever return I would defineately use them again."

"My wife & I loved this cozy little cabin! It was perfect for us. It's over 100 years but you can tell it's been kept with love! We loved the rustic feel and floors. The home was clean and I loved the back porch area. I sat out there for hours just staring at the lake & mountain view. The gas station is in walking distance and there is a dollar general about 3 miles away for a quick store run. Getting to Boone is only a 10 minute drive. "We had a great time at the treehouse! There was more than enough room for my family of 5. We all had so much fun. Beautiful view. The only thing that i could say is. There wasnt enough curtains to cover all the windows. They had a sign that said leave door locked for bears (paraphrasing) and my kids were terrified at night. They were worried about bears looking the windows. LOL but thats how kids are. Also, my 4 year old came to the mountains dying to see Bigfoot. And they had Bigfoots height...

"The property manager, plumber, EVS (housekeeper) were all amazing! The house was wonderful! Did have some mild issues that were quickly corrected. The images of this house do not do it justice! It is HUGE!!! We all loved the extra perks like the candy/popcorn in the movie theatre, and s’mores for the many fireplaces. We held our wedding on the porch with the amazing views! "Stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday. It was the perfect little cabin for two - quaint and homey furnishings plus a stocked kitchen and a bowl of candy provided by the host! "It was a very nice little spot I did however think that it was further off the road and not as many neighbors but they were very friendly and really nice people and we had just as much privacy as if we didn’t have anyone around us. It was a little pricey for me considering it was only 2 days as small at was but all around I have no complaints I enjoyed my stay"

"We came from Austin to celebrate our first anniversary, and the little log cabin was absolutely perfect! We felt secluded, but not isolated. The view of the mountains is stunning! The cabin is newly updated, fully stocked, and oh so cozy. We picked up some groceries in Blocking Rock on our way, so we wouldn’t have to go anywhere for food. Hundreds of hiking trails surround the cabin, and the Blue Ridge Parkway is just a few minutes away. I would go back in a heartbeat!"
