A short drive from Higgins Lake, this charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom getaway offers families an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Just a 3 min walk to hiking trails, groomed XC ski paths + river access for tubing or kayaking. The rustic + modern interior features a tastefully decorated living area adorned with wood accents, a coffee nook and comfortable furniture. Miles of ORV trails + ample parking.

The Space
This modernized cabin is designed to provide your family with modern amenities in a cozy cabin setting with walkable access to hiking + XC skiing in the woods, fishing + kayaking on the river; and a bakery, bowling alley, grocery store, wine shoppe + butcher in town. All of those things are just a stones throw away (5 min walk).

The well-appointed kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, making it a breeze to whip up simple and delicious meals. Enjoy your culinary creations at the kitchen peninsula which provides seating for four. If you prefer dining al fresco, head outside to the spacious patio (seats six) and indulge in a barbecue feast using the outdoor grill (seasonal) while watching your kids romp on our almost one acre of property featuring a pine grove, hammock and slack line playground all within sight of the patio. As the evening unfolds, gather around the fire pit and share stories, roast marshmallows, and savor the magical ambiance of crackling flames under the starry night sky.

If golf is your passion, Forest Dunes Golf Club is within easy reach, inviting you to tee off amidst stunning natural scenery. For those who enjoy the serenity of river fishing, public access to the Au Sable River is just up the street beckoning anglers with its abundance of trout, walleye and steelhead.

This property is close to the river and woods so mosquitoes and ticks are active!

Also to note, this cabin is near nature. You may see or encounter wildlife while in our home or neighborhood. This could include deer, skunks, raccoons, ducks, mice, spiders, wasps, bees, crickets, black flies, ticks or ants. These creatures reside in nature and we have no control over them. We Cannot control Mother Nature and therefore do not offer refunds if you encounter her business. This is a nature friendly property so no poisons, toxins, glue traps allowed.
