""Wow!" is what was said by the brother that didn't stay with us last year; the rest of us agreed it was as wonderful this year as the last. Clean, beautifully decorated, kitchen had all we needed to make a couple meals, along with dog bowls and towels for our pup. Of course, the shuffleboard and gaming console added to our fun! "

"This home is perfect for nature lovers, and those who want a quiet getaway. We enjoyed 8 days of bicycling, kayaking and boating. The home is situated right on a slough on the Columbia River and the views are superb. Hosts Steve and Betsy are welcoming, and provide everything one would want for a comfortable, memorable stay. The home is incredibly clean and well-appointed. We will be back!"

"It was a very relaxing and pleaseant stay. Proximity to the beach made it easy to go down and enjoy beachcombing and the view. It was close enough to Long Beach to go and enjoy the shops and eateries within minutes. The house was clean, quiet and very well stocked woth essentials. We would recommend this house, it was a very reasonable rate for the overall value!"

"Fantastic property, located within walking distance of everything. Unlike other places we have stayed, this property has an abundance of all of the supplies one would need to stay a week. We have stayed at many properties, and this bar none was the best one we have stayed at. I would reccomend this property to anyone!"

"We stayed for the Rod Run- plenty of room to park our truck and trailer and it was the perfect location. Close to town and easy to find.The house is dated- but clean. Nothing fancy. It has everything you need and is perfect for a weekend at the beach. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, the water pressure in the shower was good, kitchen was stocked with all the cookware I needed to throw down some good meals, the new washer and dryer came in handy and there was a coffee pot. "This was perfect for a family weekend, with adult children, 91 yo and dogs. We were able to bike on the Discovery Trail, and take a mother in law to the lighthouse, (at least the top of it), a bit steep to the actual lighthouse without a wheelchair. Nice weather and lots of birds. We especially loved having the spotting scope to view hundreds of both white and brown pelican’s and other birds, including a kingfisher eating a fish. Loved our stay."
